I absolutely LOVE Led Zeppelin. and my silliest break up story is due to my bf at the time playing the second song to me in spring, and me believing it was him hinting to a break up that i had to act first. thanks Led Zeppelin for the funny memories!

this gets a 5 solely because it's the album of my childhood (i rarely listened to albums before this project) so i'm biased

I’m absolutely blown away by how incredible this album was.

This was a funky lil album and I enjoyed giving it a shot!

i really don't like experimental, noise-like music

I always loved Johnny Cash’s voice but this album opened a new door to get to know him&his music better and I appreciate that

i get funky about indecent language and especially blasphemy but if i hadn't looked at the lyrics or the description of the album i know i would have given it a 5 musically... this was a hard rating

i enjoyed it, it was very long and i couldn't tell the difference between some song transitions but i enjoyed his solo work

my liking started off slow on this one but towards the end I realized I liked the album so much so I rewinded some of the songs as I was going through it. it was a unique sound I did not expect from Elvis, which made me like it even more.

almost every song went to a different playlist, i appreciate that versatility and how good everything sounded for me to want to keep listening to them in the future

there were some songs that really surprised me with how soft the sound was and i throughly enjoyed this album, getting to like a band i already listened to more

I didn't hate it and appreciated that it had a beat to it, but wow was this uncomfortable to listen to.

I actually did enjoy the album, and listen to it on repeat in the background. However, I could not tell between any one song and wasn't specifically drawn into any one of them.

some songs i had to skip entirely, and others part of... it felt like pure noise at times rather than a flow of music that was enjoyable

I genuinely enjoyed this album. Every song stood out and I listened to a few on repeat because I wanted to enjoy it a bit more before I moved on to the next one. Neil Young surprised me with another side of his music, but his unique voice and mark is iconic as always.

dad loves The Byrds, and I loved this album. such smooth, cheery sound while singing meaningful lyrics. i enjoyed the tone dips in a few songs, and just the ease of the rhythm guitar in the back complimenting the harmonies.

"Stevie, you make me Wonder" on top a *smooth* track might quiet be the funniest musical moment I ever experienced HAHAHAHAH. in general this album was such a lovely mix of funky and hip hoppy and i throughly enjoyed it

some of the lyrics and themes were a bit too bleak for me however I enjoyed the general sound and the melodies a lot

i only knew a few songs of Tracy Chapman before this album, that I loved wholeheartedly and after this I can safely say that I became to love her music as a whole

this was a much sweeter than expected album, i really loved the harmonies. it was a bit too hippie for my taste but i wouldn't mind hearing it again!

this was iconic and I really really liked it, though wish some songs had less blasphemous lyrics :(

i didn't think i was going to like this album as much as i ended up doing so at the beginning, but it was a different and energizing vibe and this band will be now on my radar for other songs/albums!

i genuinely enjoyed this album so much. head swinging hips swaying levels of enjoyment. i liked the beats as well as melody and i feel like the deepness and the smoothness of their voices compliment each other so so well.

didn't enjoy it as much as I did other albums/songs of them but it also wasn't tasteless that I'd have to skip any songs

first David Bowie album i listened from the beginning till end and while I acknowledge what a pioneer he is this album was just meh for me.

an enjoyable mix of funky pop mixed with rock. Prince's smooth and unique voice added on top. there wasn't a single song that changed my world, but definitely and album i'd enjoy listening to again

there were some songs i liked but honestly almost all Oasis songs just sound like the same chords played over and over again aggressively and a teenage boy yelling as much as he can because he thinks it makes him a better singer

I’m absolutely in LOVE with this album. I got goosebumps from the first note and it only kept adding up as the album progressed. Not a single song I didn’t fall in love with. I listened to Lyke-Wake Dirge on repeat until I could force myself to move on. Life changing experience.

I love Led Zeppelin though this is not my favorite album of theirs. Pleasant enough to listen to though and has Kashmir on it so still deserves a good rating.

Can't say it's the most mind blowing album of theirs but solely for Killer Queen it deserves a top mark for sure.

i really could not tell any difference between the songs. it was 12 bar blues all over again and neither the voice nor the words compelled me to look up the lyrics to understand the song changes.

it was a fun album to listen to, felt a bit like elevator/resort music but i also found myself dancing/swaying to some of it so wouldn't mind hearing it again!

i really enjoyed this album! many of the songs are stable in what i'd categorize as "disco" and i also discovered that one of my favorite techno songs was all but a cover of their "Thinking of You". definitely a pioneer of their times and a still loved/appreciated group!

I appreciate the contribution this group and album made to rap history, but not a single track inspired me to listen more. would've been a 1 if i didn't know their names and other projects so well and liked them

I like Tainted Love, but nothing else on the album stood out to me. I like the beats and the voice but it does feel a bit repetitive and a bit too long of an album. I don't even feel like making it to the end of it.

he's an artist i appreciate the voice and the sound of. already liked a few songs on the album but gotta say the whole thing has a nice vibe to it

i enjoyed this concept (?) album. i'm familiar with few of his songs but never paid attention to his lyricism nor life before this album. i'd definitely have a more positive reaction to listening to his music now

this was such a pleasant listen, i'm glad to this project for introducing me to yet another artist that's right up my alley. he's giving me Jeff Buckley vibes

some points funky, some points funny, some points ballady... i've definitely come to enjoy Meat Loaf better after this album and would listen to any one of these songs again in the future!

Street Spirit is the song that introduced me to Radiohead when I was 11-12 and the first song I learned picking on in a non-classical piece... this album even if wasn't great is special for just those reasons alone

funky, groovy, and lovely. i liked this album. his voice and the background singers are a big part of it too as well as the bass guitar.

I vibed to this album and was surprised to find out I knew some of the songs already, I guess Fatboy Slim is as recognizable as I thought he was just from the name alone

This was such an enjoyable album, I took a lot of songs away and ended up listening through it two times before I even realized!

absolutely iconic. i never realized i knew these songs until i listened to the whole album, which made enjoying them even better. i then went on a tangent with all the other songs i know who'd sampled him. life changing album

This album was right in the middle, not too unpleasant to want to skip but not fun enough to really pay attention to. I liked a few songs in the middle but did look forward to it ending.

It wasn’t love at first sight but I ended up relistening the whole album almost 3 times and found more and more to enjoy

this probably would've been a 2 if I hadn't found out about the health crisis the artist went into and what he's accomplished to still complete the album despite of his struggles

"I'm on Fire" comes off disgusting with the lyrics and I don't understand why we don't talk about that more. If not for that song I might've ranked it higher.

i genuinely liked this album. weird enough to be unique, commercial enough for each song to be likeable. finding out it's also a one man show added to my appreciation of the music made.

this was an interesting listen, not what i expected but not mind blowing enough to change my relationship with the genre either

i discovered so many songs i liked and didn't know was from them as well as so many new songs i enjoyed. top tier album and few lyrics i checked showed it went beyond the usual "gangsta" lyrics which i appreciated

The main highlight of this album was that the song "Have You Seen Her Face" reminded me of "I'm a Believer" and I went and gave a listen to Smash Mouth. I like The Byrds but I feel there are way too many albums of theirs on this project and it seems I've gotten them all back to back :(
