1001 Albums Summary

No denying this is an amazing record—Vine and Freestyle are stone cold classics and the scope/storytelling are impressive and compelling. But every time I hear this album, I think it’s way too long. Every song eventually brings me back, but I zone out frequently during the second half. 4.5

Brilliant album. Constant propulsion, incredible songs. Artists Only, I’m Not in Love, and Stay Hungry drag ever so slightly, but Found A Job more than makes up for any shortcomings. Wonderful. 5
