Probably the platonic ideal of a 70s album— it’s got all the strings and sentimentality I associate with the era. Its more cohesive as an album than I expected, although Dancing Queen as track 2 was definitely jarring (would it be less so if I hadn’t heard it at literally every wedding and karaoke session I’ve been to?) Also doesn’t help it’s behind When I Kissed the Teacher, which is a crazy track 1. Still good overall and proof the Swedes know how to write good pop songs. I can hear the influence on my favorite band Ghost! Standout tracks: Dancing Queen (duh), Knowing Me Knowing You, That’s Me, Tiger….
