Surrealistic Pillow

I knew White Rabbit and Somebody to Love, so the new-to-me songs fell nicely within that space. It’s definitely a time capsule of its era. The vocals, especially the lead female, are distinctive and strong. While psychedelic rock is not my favorite genre, I enjoyed the songs and found their quality lifting to the whole. The more I imagined myself alive at the time, the more I enjoyed this set like a nostalgic memory of a life I might have had.
