Black Sabbath - 6/10: The song as an intro didn't musically intrigue me enough to be interested in the whole album. Really like the lyrics and atmosphere but song dragged out and didn't warrant the 6 minutes The Wizzard - 7.5/10 - Very good and interesting instrumentals, song keeping up with witches and wizzards theme. Behind the Wall of Sleep 8/10 - Very interesting vocal effects and also like the choppy instrumentals at some parts. N.I.B 10/10 - BANGER, everything here clashes perfectly into a peak metal song. Love the instrumentals love the singing, lyrics mid but don't matter when everything else slaps. Deservedly their most popular song on this album. Evil Woman 4/10 - Very uninteresting, didn't even notice when it started and when it ended. Considering it is coming out of such a good song it's very bland. Sleeping Village 8/10 - To me, a more fitting continuation of N.I.B. Very good instrumentals, guitars doing what they do best, and generally very good song. Warning 9/10 - They managed to make a 10 minute song that didn't bore me to death, and was actually interesting and piqued my interest time and time again. Seriously good, but still could be juuuust a bit more bombastic in my eyes. The Wizzard - 6/10 - Doesn't really fit on the album in my opinion, a bit of a slog ending, but at parts very good, at some other uninteresting. Lyrics good and provoking Generally not fan of Ozzys singing, a bit soul sucking for the instrumental that is very good. On the other hand lyrically all the songs are interesting and theme following, in a sense that I could see this music in some rural town where occult things are happening. In that sense, cohesion wise, album is very good. I could listen to the instrumentals 24/7 and never get bored, they are just too good, the quality of each individual instrument player is just so high. Maybe doesn't fully fit the vision I would have for a self-titled album from a group called this good, but other than that, very decent album
