1001 Albums Summary

I liked some aspects of the album, but overall I’d say this is not one I’d come back to. I respect the artistry and creativity but I’m not sure this album is for me.

I really enjoyed this album. Super interesting production with the combo of electronic elements and slide guitar. I think this album feels of its time without feeling dated.

Really enjoyed this one. It’s hard not to love Stevie Wonder!

Interesting album! Some songs I loved, others I just liked. I think my favorite aspect overall was the unique arrangements and instrumentation.

Can’t help but feel like I’d enjoy all these songs if they were sung by someone else

Pretty dark concept album, not something I’d listen to again most likely.

Classic country that makes me wanna throw my cowboy boots and boot scoot across the floor

Really interesting album. In some songs I can hear the overlap with American blues/folk and Cajun/zydeco music. My favorite track was definitely Ai Du! The viola and banjo were a great addition to the arrangement

Funky! Groovy! Jazzy!

Good background music for a hot summer day, but I don’t think I’ll be yearning to come back to this album and listen over and over again
