I haven’t got enough time to rate :(
4/10 purely because of the musician ship and not out of appreciation of the songs.
I thought the singer and drummer were very good, but the songs didn’t interest me enough to give a second listen.
I liked the second song in the opening track named 2112 it was a bit slower and more my style but unfortunately it’s trapped between sections I’m not too interested in listening to again.
6.5/10
Quite liked this album, the first number was my favourite.
Really liked how cohesive the overall album was, and enjoyed some of the more unique sounds achieved in the songs.
6.5/10 really enjoy the first 3 songs but kind of fell off progressively after that unfortunately.
Running up that hill is a great song if you look past its recent media usage.
6/10 quite generic British Invasion sort of album.
Decent for a first album though, quite liked the kids are alright, and my generation is a catchy hit.
6/10
I appreciate that he is one of the greatest guitarist of all time, but 3 minute solos just aren’t my thing.
Kind of disappointed in myself that I don’t like it more.
Thinking back on listening to it now all the guitar playing kind of morphs into one continuous song.
I only listened to it once though so maybe on multiple listens they’re more unique.
7.5/10
Quite enjoyed this album, specifically it’s not the end of the world, really enjoyed the harmonies on receptacle for the respectable.
Some songs gave me a sort of Beatles/ELO feel which goes a long way with me.
The first album so far where I’ve gone back and listened to a song.
2/10
I just really don’t like this sort of music.
Makes me sad I can’t enjoy it like how some people probably do
9/10 loved the album, his voice is very good.
Quite like that it had some softer songs but then some more rockers.
Quite like forget her.
5/10
It was fine, just a little uninteresting to listen to.
Saw some reviews absolutely slating it but it’s just pretty mediocre if not below par, non of the songs really popped to me but it was okay to listen to in the background.
4/10
Felt like if Bob Dylan’s merged with pet sounds.
I enjoyed some of the sounds, decently liked old Kentucky home.
6.5
Liked the bluesy songs
