more like the rolling mids lmao. yes grandpa you're soo subversive for putting a harmonica in your songs now let's get you to bed. it's not bad, per se, just kind of boring--at its best i get fun jam band vibes, and at its worst it's bob dylan (the most scathing critique i can levy). shine a light is a clear highlight.

quality garage rock despite the character of jack white's voice. pretty cool that they made this album right after they divorced, very fleetwood mac.

what a monster of an album, took me the whole weekend to listen to. i love fitzgerald and gershwin both and each song sounds good individually but all together it does get pretty repetitive. i think i'd rather pick songs off of it into a playlist than sit down with the album itself, which is rare for me. still giving it a 4/5

i've never listened to much edm so this was a fun foray into the genre! not something i would listen to outside of a rave, though. i also did feel the misogyny #sorrynotsorry
