1001 Albums Summary

You can hear what is still being referenced today in it, as fresh and new.

Not my thing — I get why people love him but it ends up fading into background for me.

This is exactly my jam. I've had this album for ages and it's that perfect mix of 2000s pop and 1970s-style progressive jam.

I'd never really given U2 the time of day: I knew they were widely considered great (And this album shows why) but the being forced onto everyone's iPod left such a sour taste in my mouth I never did give them any attention

Oh this is where some of this sound comes from! You can tell he's a contemporary of Joy Division, and the Manchester sound shows through.

Well that sure shows off the phenomenon The Who are. It must have been truly astounding to see them live.

Not my favorite Yes! album by far, but still a lot of interesting instrument work going on
