first time listening to neil young, and i am genuinely blown away. "after the gold rush" is an incredible album. his lyricism is like a warm blanket, they were so warm, beautiful and relatable. the harmony between the bass and drums is so good.
my favourite songs from the album are : all of them but "southern man", "birds "oh, lonesome me"(which is an amazing cover song) and "i believe in you".
i look forward to listening to more neil young!!
this record is really good. simple lyrics with catchy riffs. had me grooving and feeling funky. standout songs for me were "beer drinkers & hell raisers", "hot, blue and righteous" and "la grange".
this record would be playing if i'm in the desert and want a tint of blues music.
this is one of my favourite records! i didn't expect to get it so soon but mo complaints from. i love carole king's voice, it's so calming and i relate to get lyrics. she makes me feel calm and comfortable. tapestry is a record i truly cherish.

omfg, this record is ethereal!! the record flows really well. every time i think the current song playing is my favourite, the next song playing proves me wrong. grace slick put me under a spelll with that angelic voice of hers and jack casady's bass is so good. i genuinely thought of "the doors", "the stooges", "fleetwood mac" and a bit of beetles when i was listening to this and yet they had their own style that's so unique. astonishing record!

Tarkus is a masterpiece track!!! one the greatest prog rock tracks i've ever heard. the restbof the record is okay, there are a few songs i like but my favourite is Tarkus for sure.
Every Prince record is a 10/10 for me.
