Vocals not favorite but fit in very well with rest of music, Mr. Brightside and Somebody Told me will never get old, everything will be alright is kinda weird but I like it, good but not my favorite
Great chill vibe, loved the sax tone
There’s just something about John Fogerty’s voice, gotta be in a mood to listen to this stuff, but it hits perfectly during it
Half way through and zero skips, the beats are insane, love the jazz influences
Keith moon and John entwistle, a lot of fun solos, not a fan of all lyrics (I’m a boy), great sound quality, would love to hear on vinyl
Never heard country honk, only honky tonk woman - like the reimagining, bass on live with me is awesome, love the guitar tone on Monkey Man and throughout rest of album
Very conflicted on how to feel about this, I’m all for experimental music, but some of this just feels a bit out there and kind of like shit just thrown together (idioteque), some does hit like outro to Kid A (but wtf r the vocals on it)
A little too mellow for my liking, chest fever my favorite - love the keyboard and bass on it, I don’t think it’s bad just not my favorite genre
Trying to have an open mind, welcome to New York not a good start, I had to stop listening this music just is not for me. Nostalgic though
Conflicting - nothing is bad, just nothing really stands out, I like the vocals, but rest of band leaving a bit to desire for me
Earlier dnb, feel very spoiled by what I’ve seen live
I don’t like the vocals, songs not bad just not my favorite, title track is really good tho
Love the beat on Just Might Be Okay, flow on kick, push is awesome, daydreaming’>>>, not a fan of some of the melodic stuff (the cool), beat on pressure is insane but not biggest fan of vocals minus the Jay-z part
Early pop punk, vocals very punk esk but instrumentals are easily digestible, not the biggest fan of this style of vocals but singer has really good voice, vibe switches up half way through, like how they explored different styles, Private Life sounds like a knock off police song without a pop-esk hook, brass in pocket sounds like stereotypical 80’s pop song - good but very similar to rest of that style music, I’m all for stylistic diversity but feels like it’s just a bunch of of average stuff fitting into genres without doing much else to stand out
3/5
Favorite: Porcelain
More punk, intro on The Age of Pamparius got me going, very punk sounding vocals which aren’t my favorite, album feels very stereotypical punk with a little twang from the guitar thrown in, more I listen more I like guitar and riffs but still can’t do the vocals
Favorite: Selfdestructo Bust
