1001 Albums Summary

It's giving long hair & flare jeans - 70s??? I can imagine some of these songs being part of the soundtrack in old action movies. Not my vibe but appreciate their talent & contribution.

Nostalgic. Was one of my go-to albums in 2006. Reminds me of the Twilight series. Reminds of emo-adjacement music. You forget how good the vocals are. Matt Bellamy's voice does things & conveys emotion in the moments of crescendo & in the quiet whispers. Big fan.

Smooth silky vocals. Experiences of inequality layered over up tempo beats. Instrumentation is perfection - the keys, brass, percussion. Vibey. Groovaayy.

Such a talented bloke. Makes me think of simpler times/one tree hill. Pity he turned out to be a knob.

Incredible. Such a great album.

Not my favourite brand of heavy metal but see this band's value & talent.

I remember when he first came on the scene...such a unique talent. I remember playing table tennis with my late older brother with kanye as part of the soundtrack (mostly rap, emo & nu metal) blaring from shitty twin 2000s desktop computer speakers & later dnacing to kanye with friends in clubs. He's made some very bizarre/cruel statements in the last decade. Hope he finds his way back & rights his wrongs. Great album. Stand out track is monster. Nicki minaj' (rip her career after becoming erika kirk's new bff) verse on monster is fucking perfection. Can't not mention justin vernon carrying us out with his vocals too.

Ooooooff janis' voice hits you right in the guts. That rasp, that honey. Wish she outlived her 20s - incredible talent, terrible disease. That band & guitarist are fucking serving the most elite kind of cunt. Lucky the wind didn't change otherwise it would be stuck in stank face for the rest of my life.

Absolute classic.

Melancholic until they very last song which caught me off guard. Enjoyed parts of the album. Enjoyed the harmonica.

So devastating. I couldn't listen to it all. I am assuming that a lot of it references his first son's tragic passing. Gut wrenching moments of absolute despair with pared back production.
