it was okay... high point was i talk to the wind, i liked it more than i was expecting to like anything from this album, esp the flute solo at the end low point was moonchild after they stopped singing... it was too understimulating for me

an album that really grabs your attention, great musical storytelling this being written partially as a ballet makes a Lot of sense, i would love to see what a performance to this looks like

CAUSE IM MR BRIGHTSIDEEEEE tbh i dont think i had ever listened to this full album, no real standouts other than the songs i already knew (which are the ones everyone knows lol). mr brightside and somebody told me on their own are such bangers tho, so, those combined with nostalgia are driving my rating here

ive always meant to check out more of bjorks stuff but i think this album veers a little too much on her experimental side for me, it still was a pretty enjoyable listen though i liked quicksand from a production standpoint quite a bit!

more like can i see kate's bush yknow what im sayin 😏 a bit hit or miss for me but i do like running up that hill, even if stranger things kinda ruined it, but excluding that my fave was the big sky

10/10 saves what a good album i love cocteau twins!!!!! the type of music that makes me wanna twirl around in a flowy dress i hadnt listened to this full album before and im so glad this gave me an opportunity to. Veryyyy hard to pick a fave, but id say its split between pitch the baby and fifty-fifty clown, but every song is so good

i was familiar with a handful of isley brothers songs but hadnt ever listened to a full album. wild to think about how many songs have sampled them (i looked up summer breeze and its been sampled in 102 songs!!!) overall a very enjoyable listen! fave- summer breeze

while i like other works from steely dan more than whats on this album, its still a vibe 😎 standouts for me were your gold teeth and king of the world

the album name of whatever is pretty fitting, cuz thats kind of how i feel about it. generic sounding 90s pop rock but overall its Fine i will hand it to her that i dont think ive ever heard a song abt wanting gilf dick before (mr harris), so thats uhh something i guess?

more of a vibe than a structured album, which i can appreciate. seems very ahead of its time, 70s ambient basically??, and a few parts grabbed my attention and were pretty interesting, but overall was kind of a boring listen for me personally 😔

overall a fun album, which i was expecting from the B-52s. nothing rlly stuck out to me other than rock lobster which is just cuz i knew that already lol i also didnt rlly fuck with their cover of downtown either tbh

So glad i listened to this full album. truly classic bangers. a lot of the songs i knew already but there were a few that were new for me, the working hour stood out the most to me from those and itll definitely be in my rotation 😌 also, the version of head over heels ive mainly listned to didnt have the same outro as this and it was a nice lil surprise o: fave- head over heels (unoriginal ik but its just so good)

i had always wanted to check out more portishead cuz i had only heard a handful of songs but tbh im a little underwhelmed... overall i liked it and it was a chill vibe, just nothing that really stood out faves - glory box and roads, a lil nostalgia for this one, it was in a sims youtube series i loved in middle school LMAO (shoutout pleasantview high)

i like some fleetwood mac songs but not much off of this album clicked with me, i do very much enjoy stevie nicks voice tho fave- brown eyes

the songs didnt come together quite in the way i was hoping, theres a lot of good instrumental elements but there wasn't a song i 100% liked, there was always something i thought was very bad after something kinda good.. also the vocalist was pretty annoying to me, some songs id def like better if they were fully instrumental or had someone else singing you can def tell this shits from 2012

overall a Very enjoyable listen!! :) its a Vibe™️ this is also another band i always wanted to check out more stuff from so glad i had an excuse to do so! fave- la femme d'argent, really enjoyed it as an opener to the album!! and honorable mention for sexy boy, its a classic
