I wasn't feeling this album at first, but it started to grow on me after the first couple of songs.
They're all right - I think I prefer the instrumentals over the vocals though. I can also hear Stone Roses's influence on bands that came after them, like Kaiser Chiefs (and maybe even Oasis).

Celebrity Skin is way better, in my opinion. I know this is Hole's breakthrough album, but I'm not sure why this is the one they're known for; that being said, Dollparts is a decent song.
"Sea Song" was definitely inspired by "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." The entire album sounds like it was written during an acid trip, but in a way that makes it kind of charming. I hope Robert's hedgehog friend is okay after bursting the tyres all day.
Darkness, imprisoning me
While I appreciate Joy Division and their musical impact (they've influenced some of my favorite artists, like Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins), this album just wasn't hitting for me.

George Michael is one of those rare cases where the artist's solo music is better than the music they created when they were part of a group (and I say this as someone who enjoys the occasional Wham! song). I'm a fan of this album.

Dark, adventurous, and experimental, Music for the Masses is a defining electronic pop album, and I can see why it brought Depeche Mode so much success.

This song takes up more than half of the album's runtime, but that's okay, because it's the only track the album needed in the first place.
The album kicks off with grungier Hole vibes, but once it gets to "G-Song," it shifts to a sound that I can only describe as a mix of The Rolling Stones and a bunch of English rock bands from the early 2000's (though I suppose the latter were likely inspired by Supergrass).
Maybe it's just me, but all of the songs kinda sound the same.
This album must be pretty obscure, because I had to find it on YouTube to be able to listen to it. I'm not sure what to make of it. It's okay, not really my cup of tea to be honest.
I initially expected this album to bore me, but surprisingly, it didn't. It was actually sort of pleasant to listen to as background music while I completed random tasks.
I'm really not a Coldplay fan, but this is fine. The two most popular tracks ("The Scientist" and "Clocks") are the best songs on the album, but "In My Place" is up there too.
NEU 75! starts off so chill, and then all of a sudden, as soon as it gets to "Hero," it turns into a weird version of "White Wedding" by Bill Idol (yes, I'm aware that "White Wedding" was released after this album, but my point still stands).

Somehow, I've never heard Elvis Costello & The Attractions before today. I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed This Year's Model. "Pump It Up" has to be my favorite track.
One of Led Zeppelin's best. I especially love the funk-inspired "Trampled Under Foot" and, of course, you can't go wrong with "Kashmir."

I had never heard of the shoegaze genre before listening to My Bloody Valentine. My immediate thought upon playing Loveless (once I managed to find it on YouTube) was, "Billy Corgan was definitely influenced by these guys." Smashing Pumpkins does it better, in my opinion, but Loveless is still a solid album in its own right.
Certainly avant-garde and a bit weird, but not bad
This isn't the most exciting album. It isn't bad, but I'm still not sure I understand the hype surrounding Beck.
I wasn't prepared for another avant-garde artist almost immediately after Björk, but Laibach is very unique. They're almost certainly what I'd consider to be an acquired taste, but Opus Dei sounds like something I'd return to in the future and give another listen.
For some reason, I never got into the Yeah Yeah Yeahs when they were at the height of their fame. I think I missed out though, because they're pretty good.
I don't have many notes for this one. It's fine, but it isn't particularly enjoyable or something I'd listen to again.
I've always loved Nirvana. While Nevermind has a slight edge over In Utero and Bleach (in my opinion), I still find myself returning to In Utero time and time again. "All Apologies" gets stuck in my head more often than I'd like to admit.
You can never go wrong with Queen. Plus, A Night at the Opera has one of the best songs ever written on it (Bohemian Rhapsody), so that makes it even better in my book.

Sadly, I'm not a fan. I stuck it out and listened to the entire two hours and fifty-two minutes, but it didn't change my mind. It isn't the worst thing I've ever listened to, but I can't say that I enjoyed it.
Outside of "Where Is My Mind," the rest of Surfer Rosa gave me a headache. Very disappointing, because I thought I'd like it. Maybe I'll return to it later and see if it hits differently the second time.
I've always been indifferent about The Eagles, and listening to the entirety of Hotel California hasn't seemed to change that. I am a fan of the title track, but otherwise, this album is just "meh" for me.
As a Janis Joplin fan, I have to say that Big Brother & The Holding Company is pretty good.

Copper Blue is a fairly generic '90s alternative rock album. I didn't hate it, but I can't say there's anything particularly noteworthy that sets Sugar's music apart from similar bands.
Very cool and kinda trippy; I feel like this could have been the soundtrack to a video game or action movie in the '90s.
