I did not enjoy this one for the most part, there were a few highlights such as Sonic Attack but the majority of songs just felt like listening to someone play guitar without any major differences, it was a bit too unfocused for me.
Might change my mind on another listen.

This is my first time listening to Beth Orton and I'm really loving it. Her vocals really shine over the simple quiet instrumentals, especially the last few songs.

The first 3 songs are amazing and I even enjoyed Nasty Girl despite the awful lyrics, but this album suffers from the same problem I have with most albums of that era, it's unfocused and bloated as hell.
As for the songwriting, I'm giving it as much thought as they were giving it by not thinking about it at all.
I like KC, but this record eludes me. I gave it two listens, but I just don't think I'm feeling it yet. Some elements grabbed me (such as the violin in Part II of the title track), but I think this one might truly be too weird for me. I Still appreciate the work they put into it though.

Such a classic Soul album. There isn't a single song here that I didn't find to great. Aretha's voice is incredible as usual but the production here surprised a few times too.
It's pretty decent for a teen pop album. Personally I'd rate this pretty low on Britney's discography but it's fun and lighthearted and I think there's been a shortage of that on this challenge so far.
Britney's voice is really beautiful here and I love how it sounds on Soda Pop. I can't believe that Autumn Goodbye is a bonus track, it's one of the best songs on this album.
