A pleasant Christmas album that brings you back to an older time.

This album was a great discovery! I’ll definitely listen to it again, especially City, Country, City.

Classic vibes and a whole lot of pathos!

Repetitive, I could hardly listen to it all. I like the album cover, though.

If anxiety had a sound this would be it. I only liked The Booker Tease.

I enjoyed the album, classic rock with live band energy, elevated by Phil Lynott’s great voice.

Ok album but, except for Song 2, it did not excite me.

Not a fan of country music but enjoyed J’ai fait tout and Boy from Tupelo.

If you’re in the mood for sweet and mellow this is a great album.

This kind of energy is enjoyable for a couple of songs, then it slowly starts draining your soul lol

Much respect for Willie Nelson and his gentle interpretation of these songs.

Just what I needed to drag myself to the office on a freezing Friday.

I never really considered KW, probably because I don’t like his public persona, but I thought this album was very good and enjoyed listening to it. Lots of nice collaborations, too. (SMH for the blurred George Condo cover art)

Giving it two stars for the social commentary, otherwise it would be one.

Beautiful sounds that kept me interested from beginning to end. Fun fact: Rebellion is the opening theme of the popular Italian political talk show “Otto e mezzo.”

Some beats are not bad but the album is overall disturbing.

Maybe it’s nostalgia but this album brought me great joy.

Musical potpourri that didn’t speak to me. Could have done better with the cover, too.

This album grew on me the more I listened to it and recognized some of the tracks like “You can make it if you try” and “Everyday people.”

Enjoyed a couple of songs and the big band.

I LOVE this album, especially Mother and child reunion, Duncan, Me and Julio down by the schoolyard, and Peace by the river. Beautiful music, voice, and lyrics!

Constant craving is the only song I noticed on this pleasant but unmemorable album.

It’s no wonder this man was awarded a Nobel Prize for Literature. His songs are poetry and he also happens to be a great musician.

Indeed… but good music remains.

It’s not my favorite kind of jazz but it was still a pleasant listen. Watermelon Man reminded me of the White Lotus season 3 opening soundtrack.

Money for Nothing alone deserves a five stars for me but I also love some of the other songs on this album like Brothers in Arms and Your Latest Trick.

Girls just want to have fun and Time after time are timeless. The rest of the album is okay.

Atmospheric

This is one album I instantly got hooked on when I listened to it at the Ricordi Mediastore in Milan (yes, we used to go to music stores to listen to albums through wall‑mounted headphones!) I also love the cover, it fits the album perfectly.

Was not familiar with this album and will listen to it again but for now it’s a three.

Quintessential Bob Dylan

Not bad for a country album. I especially enjoyed the sound in Boxcars.

Cacophonic more than sonic… but interesting! Made me feel like I was listening to a live band in a garage. Loved the church bells at the end.

This grew on me the more I listened to it and of course there are a couple of standout classics.

Sounds ancient but respect.

I find her storytelling annoying at times, but the music is pleasant enough.

Even if I liked their first album more, there’s something about this one that still pulls me in.

I feel the energy that radiates from this album. Great music and voice, and the last song is a masterpiece.

Second album by him and still don’t like it.

This is my favorite Bob Dylan’s album so far (let’s see how many more we get lol) “Tangled up in blue,” “You’re a big girl now,” and “Idiot wind” are so beautiful, and “If you see her, say hello” got me emotional.

Better than expected considering the name of the band and the album title and cover!

Fun album to listen to. I love Sunny Afternoon, which is also on the soundtrack of Wim Wender’s Perfect Days along with other cool songs of the past.

I love Neil Young but this is not one of my favorite albums.

Tainted Love is super, other songs are fun but it gets boring after a while

That Lady and Summer Breeze are a vibe, the rest not so much.

I remember this album so well

I like how this album combines different genres to talk about the African American identity and experience. Favorite songs are “The Blacker the Berry” and “I.”

Cool but I prefer their album “Actually.” Go West rocks though!

This is a very long album and I didn’t enjoy all the songs but I’m giving it a four stars for “Tonight, Tonight,” “Bullets with Butterflies Wings,” “1979,” and for the title and cover. A friend of mine from college was obsessed with this album and the lead singer!
