1001 Albums Summary

I'm not into jazz by any means, but this album is extremely pleasant to listen to and I cannot imagine how anybody would dislike it. That being said, I listened to this while doing laundry and it made doing chores much nicer, and active listening would probably be difficult for me. It doesn't do anything for me emotionally and I'm not enough of a music theory nerd to analyze everything that's going on, even if I can recognize the brilliant musicianship in this.

As a fan of weird singing and melancholy (read: Dismemberment Plan) I really like this. Most of the songs are really catchy, have great riffs and interesting lyrics, with my favorites being World Leader Pretend, Orange Crush, & I Remember California. I'm officially REMpilled.

i want to like this but i find it at best slightly interesting and at worst annoying for the same reasons i dislike radiohead and most singer-songwriter music.
