2, 5 stars I actually liked the first songs on this one, although I was a bit skeptical about this album, considering I only know the most famous songs of this band and watched an interview of them, where they kind of seemed not like my cup of tea. The last of the songs weren't to my liking though.

I can see why this is seen as one of the best albums ever made. However, I think I am just not a huge fan of this genre. I mean I can appreciate it and definitely see why it was so influential and iconic, but I wouldn't necessarily listen to it on myself.

This is amazing! I wasn't ready for this level of funkiness!

Just like a woman is pretty good and I want you, but gosh, he really knows how to make the album look incredibly long, and sure, he's a poet and a storyteller, but he also has this super distinctive way of singing that I do not like at all.

Gosh, this sounds really fascinating and I know it is amazing what he does, but also it is just not my genre. It just doesn't do it for me.

After reading the reviews, I was convinced I was going to hate this album. However, I actually found it quite intriguing. The album is very experimental and unlike anything I normally listen to. I wouldn’t necessarily choose to put it on myself, but I did enjoy getting to know it. Therefore, I would give it 2.5 stars.

I actually think I like Travelling without Moving and A Funk Odyssey much more than this first album, and I am surprised this one is on the list and not "travelling without moving". This was still enjoyable though.

My mother once saw Kravitz at a festival in our country and bought the album there. This was sometime in the ’90s, and from that day on she became a huge fan. I’ve heard “Mr. Cab Driver” an insane number of times because of that. I do agree with most people, though, that Let Love Rule isn’t exactly a 10/10 album. There are some great tracks on it, but also quite a few that are pretty unremarkable. Still, I can’t bring myself to give it a bad rating because of the personal connection I have to it.

Honestly, I am kind of surprised by all the reviews on this one giving this and Kanye's other albums one stars, just because of who he is as a person. I haven't seen the same reaction on the numerous other racist, sexist, homophobic people on this list. You can't just pick and choose to do this? And also, why are we only reacting this way when the artist is a woman or a black person? If a white man, has the same views, you all still listen to him.

Rush feels like they're rushing you to the end of the album. It feels mechanical, void of any emotions, not a big fan.

3,5 stars. I do really like certain songs on this album, and will definitely start listening to this band more, but I don't think this is the BEST album ever made, an enjoyable one though.

It's kind of meh, it's not bad, it's not super spectacular either, just meh.

It reminded me of a lot of different sounds and artists at the same time. Quite cool and interesting album, quite unique.

I was quite skeptical about this one. I have been quite indifferent towards Neil Young and his songs. Sure, I already knew Heart of Gold and loved that song, but for some reason I never was bothered to learn more about this artist and his other work. And after hearing the first song, I wasn't sure this was going to be my genre of music, but somehow Neil Young takes you with him on a long path in the countryside and suddenly you are entranced by his music and you have to admit: this was a great album.

Five stars, because, you know, it's the Doors.

This is not bad, a quite enjoyable album for sure, but also not the best album of all time. I am also kind of getting tired of the amount of Neil Young I have gotten over the past weeks. Surely there's more on this list than just Neil Young?

Honestly, it is not bad, but it is also not really that special. You listen to it and the songs go on and on, and you don't really love any of them, but also don't really hate the album, kinda meh.

Listened to the shorter version "the best of", because there ain't no way that I am listening more than 3 hours to Ella Fitzgerald, even her being the icon she is

I am sorry, it is nice for a song, but after two songs Joni Mitchell just loses her audience.

This might actually be my favorite album of all time, or at least top five. You cannot imagine how many times I have listened to it.

Absolutely disliked this one by Whinewood. 80s music is just a hit or miss for me.

Weird fishes/Arpeggi and Jigsaw falling into place might be the most magical/mind tickling songs I have ever heard or found. I have listened to them a million times already and still they keep tickling my brain in the right way.

A fine album, that's for sure, but an exquisite one? I don't know...

To be honest, I have been getting nothing but psychodelic 60-70s albums these last days, so I am already happy we're finally in a different decade. What to say about this album by Nick Cave? Nick Cave has quite a unique sound, but I do feel like this isn't his best album, 3, 5 stars for me.

Pretty good album, though it gets a bit long after a while. I do enjoy Stipe's voice and his unique sound. Also think this might be their best album.

Honestly, I was always quite skeptical of Coldplay. I called it "rock" for people who don't like rock. And there's probably a bit of truth in there, but I did like some of the less knowner songs on this album. Quite surprised by them.

I first discovered this band, going through my mom's old vinyls. She has their other album and I was intrigued by their unique sound; i do feel like this album is even better than the one I had already listened to.

There aren't many albums anymore that really surprise me when I listen to them, but this one definitely does, there are some very unique songs on this, almost unlike anything I have ever heard, that just bring me to places I never knew existed. There are however also some less interesting songs on it, that just couldn't fully grab my attention. Four stars

The thing I struggle with, with Morrisseys solo stuff, is the actual music itself. Morrisseys voice sounds great, just like it always does, and he sings some great lines with the same self pity that could be found in the Smiths stuff, but I find the dynamic between him and the music not good, it falls flat, so that it all feels pointless.

This album just brings out so much joy!

Pretentious stuff, no, I do like some Pink Floyd at times, but this album just isn't my vibe.

I am starting to understand why they call him the boss

Honestly, I dont get why everyone is so against "Nick of Time", there are so many divorced dad rock bands on this list, I only think it is fair to add a divorced mom country/pop album

I have been listening to this list for a few days now and have just reached my 200th milestone. I have to admit, though, that when I started this journey, I expected something different from the albums I’ve encountered so far. There are a lot of American and British albums on this list, perhaps a few too many at times. The reason I started this list was to discover new music from all over the world. As a Belgian, I had of course already explored many albums from my own country, as well as from neighbouring countries like France and Germany, and I had even discovered some really cool Turkish and African rock bands. However, I wasn’t familiar with the SWISS band The Young Gods yet, and what a discovery they have been! I am incredibly glad they made it onto this list. They have such a unique sound. I’ve seen many comparisons in the few reviews I skimmed, but none of them quite seem to capture the full experience of this band. An album with lyrics entirely in French, a sense of urgency running through every song, some songs that feel almost theatrical and opera-like, contrasted with tracks that are heavy, powerful, and full of momentum. You can almost picture them performing this live right in front of you. Does anyone know if these guys still perform? I would absolutely love to see them live!

I think the yeah yeah yeahs might be one of the most underrated bands I have encountered yet. Karen O is such a rocking legend. I hardly hear any of their music on the radio, except for heads will roll, even though Maps for example is such a banger, with so much history!

I'm honestly surprised by all the negative reviews of this album. Even though I was born a year after it was released, I remember Timberlake's songs being everywhere while I was growing up, so listening to this album brings back a wave of nostalgia. And honestly, I don't think you can deny just how catchy it is.
