4/5
Random but enjoyable album. Not my favourite Genesis stuff, but definitely an experience. Few drinks, a smoke, and an hour with this album on an evening would be a vibe!

Run-D.M.C.
4/5
Solid start to the year. Great HipHop album, no skips throughout!
The Cure
4/5
Thoroughly enjoyed this album. Took a few goes through to fully appreciate it though. Some obvious standout singles, and after learning the history of the album, I appreciated it even further.
Queen
2/5
Can only be described as Queen noise to be totally honest. I like Queen, but find they have a lot of fluff in amongst the singles. This album is mostly fluff.
The Doors
4/5
Great album, no skips again. Obvious singles, and some great and obvious inspiration to modern songs. An album to smoke to for sure.
Massive Attack
3/5
Fairly dull for me again. Not terrible, very listenable, but other than a couple of singles, nothing really groundbreaking.
Boston
4/5
Not a skippable song on this album. Heard the singles, and then deeply appreciated the rest of the album tracks. Definitely worth a relisten.
Baaba Maal
3/5
First look into the wider scope of what this list has to offer I guess. Very African, very traditional, very interesting. Just not really for me, but I can't rate it lower just because it's not for my tastes, overall it's clearly a well made album, with some great talent behind it.
Pixies
3/5
I really like to Pixies, this album had some great stuff, and some less good stuff, to be generous. Not bad at all, but not worth more than a 3 in my opinion.
Stevie Wonder
4/5
Clearly massively influential, some great songs, amazing storytelling, and a great single on the album too.
The Black Crowes
3/5
Pretty good 90s stuff. A stand out single, but the rest very background for me. I enjoyed it, but wouldn't be a top album in my opinion.
The Verve
4/5
Wasn't overly excited to listen to this, but after a few plays through I was massively impressed. Great singles, fantastic filler songs, a strong 90s classic.
The Rolling Stones
3/5
Very bluesy and honky-tonk. Not bad at all. Plenty of new stuff from the Stones for me. But still very backgroundy and dull. Nothing really stands out.
Bon Jovi
3/5
Pretty good. Classic 80s glam stuff. Some fantastic singles, and other bits, but also some filler. Overall enjoyed it, but could have done with some variety.
Echo And The Bunnymen
3/5
Very 80s. Clearly influential, but felt very boring and background for me. Seems like the kind of album to be favourites by someone whose favourite movie is the Lost Boys and is into 80s darkwave stuff. Not bad, but not great either in my opinion.
Jimi Hendrix
4/5
Great album, started strong, got a bit weaker as it went on. Not as repeatable for me, but no major complaints.
The Kinks
4/5
Good fun little album. Very 60s style. Some fun songs, some belters. Understandably influential.
Fairport Convention
4/5
Fun and weird little album. Very good Celtic folk stuff. Not my usual pick, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Amy Winehouse
5/5
Absolutely impeccable album. Start to finish a belter. A story told through song. What more can be said?
Dire Straits
4/5
Great singles, fantastic guitar, but some boring songs as well.
Sarah Vaughan
5/5
Fantastic album. Not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. Pure talent and fun.
U2
3/5
Alright album, some good songs. But the strange phenomenon of U2 is that they do good songs, but are a crap band. Songs always sound better as covers.
Stevie Wonder
3/5
Enjoyable. Clearly experimental and different. But felt very disjointed as an album. Not my favourite Stevie album.
The Sabres Of Paradise
3/5
Weird music tbh. No song really stood out. It was decent, but just like one long atmospheric drum and bass song.
Weather Report
3/5
Weird and wonderful. Listenable, but something I'd have to be in the mood for.
2/5
Rubbish. Boring. Nothing standout about it.
Cocteau Twins
3/5
Boring, generic 90s background music. Not bad, just not good.
Hole
4/5
Very good. Enjoyable 90s grunge. Some belters on here.
Miles Davis
4/5
A classic. Fantastic jazz album. Very enjoyable to listen to.
Bruce Springsteen
3/5
Fairly boring. Didn't really grip me. Probably didn't give it chance, but definitely a forgettable album
The Mothers Of Invention
3/5
Different, seemingly an album of two parts really. Some that seemed a bit shit and oldie, but on a second listen felt very satirical. Other half of the album very experimental and political. Enjoyable, but feel other albums might be better?
Big Star
2/5
Rather dull, generic 70s soft rock. Nothing really stood out to me personally. Listenable, but wouldn't listen again through choice.
Tortoise
3/5
Weird again. Not sure how I felt about it really. Listenable, background music. Nothing too exciting though.
Janelle Monáe
2/5
Not sure how or why this is on this list tbh. Fairly dull and boring. Not to my taste personally, nothing to make it stand out as a decent album, no stand out songs, lyrics, music, anything.
Genesis
4/5
Random but enjoyable album. Not my favourite Genesis stuff, but definitely an experience. Few drinks, a smoke, and an hour with this album on an evening would be a vibe!
Radiohead
3/5
Wasn't looking forward to a Radiohead album coming up. Enjoyed this more than I thought. Still not fantastic, nothing really stands out, but a decent enough album overall. Was this out on the list purely because it's Radiohead?
5/5
As near to a perfect album as you can get. Starts strong, ends strong. No skips at all. Perfect day of music.
Ms. Dynamite
3/5
Enjoyed it more than expected. Very typical Noughties hip-hop album. Some great songs, some lesser, but all still pretty good. A surprising one today.
Elastica
3/5
Very classic 90s girl power rock stuff. A couple of standout bits, but mostly very samey. Enjoyed it, but wouldn't go out of my way to listen again.
Willie Nelson
4/5
Enjoyable chill, country album. Would have liked a bit more variety on the songs, but overall a great listen from start to finish.
Van Morrison
2/5
Fairly dull. One standout single, and a few similar sounding songs. And the final track is just a copy of brown eyed girl. Nothing of any great note here. Alright in the background.
Aphex Twin
4/5
Pretty interesting album. Not to everyone's tastes. Very influential and some standout stuff. Can be boring at times, but a perfect background, chill album.
PJ Harvey
2/5
Did nothing for me. Couldn't connect at all. Can understand it being something special to someone, but I found it dull and noisy with no meaning
Kendrick Lamar
5/5
Perfect album. So much influence in these songs. So many different types of music. A brilliant experimental and emotional album. Each song supports the next. Amazing.
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion
4/5
Raw and visceral. Very different and weird. Dig it though. Something I'll explore deeper further on.
Moby
3/5
Wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. Pretty good, fairly listenable all the way through, just not my cup of tea tbh.
Stereo MC's
3/5
Fairly fun, very typical 90s album. Rides off the one hit wonder at the start, but some other decent songs on here. Fairly background for me though.
Pink Floyd
5/5
Not the biggest Floyd fan, heard most of the songs individually, so wasn't sure what to expect as a full run through. But absolutely blown away. Perfect album. Flows amazingly, just a purely enjoyable listening experience.
David Bowie
3/5
Fairly dull Bowie album. Not bad, just not as stand out as any of his other stuff. Listenable, some clear influences, but fairly boring.
Machito
3/5
Nothing overly exciting for me. Not bad, just not good either. No stand out songs. Fairly impressive musically, but not really to my taste.
Black Sabbath
5/5
Every song is brilliant. Pure metal influence. Loved it.
2Pac
3/5
Didn't do a lot for me. Definitely not bad. Raw, deep, and emotional stuff, but not my favourite hip-hop.
Siouxsie And The Banshees
3/5
Not a bad album. Very different to what I was expecting, but it started strong and got weaker for me personally.
Nico
2/5
Fairly dull 60s acoustic album. Not exactly bad, just rather forgettable and didn't do much for me.
R.E.M.
4/5
Enjoyable, bit different. Some stand out singles with some back up songs. I personally enjoyed them all, definitely worth a relisten.
ABBA
3/5
Not a bad album, some good singles on here, but not a good flow really.
Dennis Wilson
4/5
Very different album. Seems fairly experimental almost as though he got out of a contract and could now do some of the weird projects he had stored up. Some good songs, some not as good, but overall an interesting listen throughout.
DJ Shadow
4/5
Enjoyable ambient/techno hip-hop stuff. Great mood setter for a long drive. Really enjoyed this.
The Boo Radleys
1/5
No real cohesion to this album. Felt like they'd heard other successful bands and songs in the 90s and tried to copy what they were doing instead of making a name for themselves. Nothing really stood out, well not in a positive way. Just really boring, was glad when the album finished.
N.E.R.D
3/5
Not bad at all. Not sure what I was expecting, but this was a decent album through and through. Not good enough for a 4, but a high 3.
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
4/5
Didn't know what to expect going into this. Surprisingly enjoyable. Lots of different styles, some familiar songs, but overall a great, solid album.
The Kinks
2/5
Fairly dull album. Enjoyed some Kinks on previous days, but this album did nothing for me really.
Sigur Rós
3/5
Fairly interesting album, very atmospheric and chilled. But not the most exciting in my opinion. Appreciated it, but not my favourite.
Turbonegro
4/5
Really fun album today. Classic punk metal from the 90s. Enjoyed the full play through. Not rated higher though as nothing too stand out individually, but overall a great album.
Jimmy Smith
3/5
Fun little jazz album. Very long songs, but all very enjoyable. Nothing too stand out though, but definitely listenable and would happily have on in the background.
Led Zeppelin
4/5
Fantastic album. Really Bluesy, Rocky, classic. Every song a belter. Just under a 5 for me because it isn't my favourite of theirs. Overall an absolute classic from start to finish.
Bebel Gilberto
3/5
Interesting album today. Not expecting much from it, but was pleasantly surprised. Not my kind of stuff, but had a couple of play throughs and enjoyed it. Wouldn't choose to listen to it again though I don't think.
Caetano Veloso
2/5
Didn't do much for me again. Not bad at all, just not my kind of thing.
Adele
4/5
Enjoyed this so much more than I expected to really. Most songs really stood out, and were enjoyable. No skips at all. Just missed out on being a 5 for me tbh.
Simply Red
4/5
Didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Very easy listening. Some singles that I've heard, and some songs I haven't. But overall a nice bit of easy listening. Some repetitiveness though, which knocked it down to 4.
Bauhaus
2/5
I can appreciate that these are apparently groundbreaking in the Goth Rock genre, however, there is definitely a reason that they aren't as well remembered as many other similar bands. Not a bad album, but really not that good.
Jack White
3/5
Not a bad album, nothing too exciting, but I did enjoy listening. Very Stones-esque. Not really groundbreaking, think I expected more from Jack White tbh.
John Grant
4/5
Never heard of him, so had no clue what to expect. Really random stuff, but enjoyable, and great music. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, definitely one I'll listen to again.
Raekwon
3/5
Not bad, not good. Middling hip-hop album for me. Enjoyed some stuff, and totally missed me with some others. Nothing that really stood out
Brian Eno
2/5
Some weird 80s experimental stuff. Definitely hit or miss. Not my idea of a good album though personally.
Frank Zappa
3/5
Again, a bit weird. Some good stuff, some crap. Overall ok, think I expected more.
The Bees
3/5
Bit of a strange one again. Not a bad album, but doesn't really go anywhere. Didn't mind up, just nothing that stands out.
Steely Dan
3/5
Really enjoy Steely Dan, but this just didn't hit for me. Pedestrian and dull. Background listening.
Beastie Boys
3/5
Really disappointed. Expected so much from this, and the stand out singles are fantastic, but the other songs are just filler. Not the best unfortunately.
The Prodigy
4/5
Brilliant 90s DnB album. Some belters on here, some not as good, but overall thoroughly enjoyable.
M.I.A.
1/5
Absolute garbage. Simplistic, repetitive noise. No idea why this is a must listen to, it does nothing worthwhile, and brings no enjoyable listening experience.
The Electric Prunes
2/5
Not really sure what this was tbh, absolutely full 60s crap. Similar sounds to other stuff that has been done better.
Kanye West
3/5
Politics aside, went into this fairly open-minded. Not the biggest Ye fan, but didn't dislike this. Took two goes through to fully appreciate some of the stuff. Nothing groundbreaking for me, but fairly listenable for Noughties hip-hop
Janet Jackson
2/5
Very 80/90s pop. Nothing really groundbreaking for me again. Didn't dislike it, but really can't understand why it's on this list over other things.
Venom
4/5
Interesting, fun, right up my street, but obviously not to everyone's taste. Clearly influential. Definitely a good one today.
Beatles
4/5
Massive album, clearly influential, and very eclectic. Some of my favourite Beatles stuff on here. Great album.
Spiritualized
4/5
Weird album, mostly atmospheric, but not bad at all. Really enjoyed this one today. Not something I'd listen to all the time, but definitely an evening, chilled listen.
The Specials
3/5
Classic, influential, and eclectic. But there are better Specials albums in my opinion. Good background listen, but not as gripping to me as others would have been.
Peter Frampton
3/5
Some songs I knew here, some new stuff. Nothing overly exciting, but not bad either. Listenable, but very background for me. I think what I disliked mostly was that it's clearly a collection of live stuff, but not a live album that flows, just a random selection of live songs from different gigs.
Nine Inch Nails
4/5
Really looked forward to this one. Great album, some brilliant songs, but also some lesser stuff. Overall, enjoyable, and a great listening experience, but just missing out on 5 stars for me.
Billy Joel
4/5
Pretty good album, nothing exciting, but easy listening and enjoyable. Not massively to my taste, but a good one overall.
Drive-By Truckers
3/5
Not really sure about this one. It just did nothing for me either way. It was so background and dull, and I wanted to like it. But I also didn't dislike it. I dunno, might need another few plays through, but it's so long that I can't be arsed with it.
The White Stripes
3/5
Solid album. Not their best though. Enjoyed the listen through, but some weaker songs.
5/5
Obviously nostalgia sways my opinion on this, but an absolute belter of an album. No skips at all, start to finish fantastic, and just great fun. A iconic album of the Noughties, thoroughly enjoyed going back through this one today.
Elis Regina
3/5
Not a bad album, but didn't do much for me. Shows my limited taste I guess, but just not to my liking.
Bob Dylan
4/5
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Dylan's a strange one because he's a terrible singer, but a phenomenal songwriter. Some great songs here.
Arctic Monkeys
5/5
Once again pure nostalgia for me. But this truly is an album of its time, and that's what makes it so perfect. It is exactly the album that speaks of the noughties in the north of England. It's so culturally relevant and brilliant. No skips at all, just pure banger after banger.
Method Man
3/5
Not bad at all, very listenable, but just not that standout for me overall.
Dusty Springfield
4/5
Belter of an album. Didn't realise she'd sang so many of these songs. Thoroughly enjoyed this, and brought back some good memories of listening to some of these with my Nan.
The Dave Brubeck Quartet
3/5
Just some chilled classic jazz. Nothing bad about this at all, but nothing overly exciting either. Nice background music.
The Cars
3/5
Not a bad little album, some songs I didn't realise I knew here. Nothing overly exciting though.
Sonic Youth
3/5
Bit of a background album again today. Can see the influential nature of it, and can appreciate it, but just didn't do much for me overall
The Style Council
2/5
From the get go I had some bosses with this, as I'm not a Paul Weller fan. A couple of songs here I knew, and we're ok. Very eclectic, but didn't really know where it wanted to go or what it wanted to be. Just typical Weller Wankery tbh
John Lennon
3/5
Better than I expected, not a Lennon fan, but not bad at all. Nothing massively groundbreaking, but clearly influential as an album.
Nick Drake
4/5
Wasn't sure about this one at first. But a few plays through and it hit me. Very simplistic, and that's part of the charm. Learning about the artist adding so much more to it. Overall a great album to stick on and chill to.
Herbie Hancock
3/5
Fairly typical jazz album. Long songs, few of em. Didn't do much for me
ZZ Top
3/5
Enjoy some ZZ Top, this album has some of their better songs. Some nice bluesy stuff. But overall, fairly middling, nothing too exciting.
The Flaming Lips
2/5
Some songs this guys voice was good, other times he really grated on me. Nothing that really stood out here, nothing that screams that this was a great album. Overall, extremely mediocre in my opinion. Prefer their one hit wonder song.
Dead Kennedys
4/5
Classic punk album. Raw, fun, and unique. Some great stuff on here.
Can
2/5
Not keen on this. One of the most influential albums of all time? Some stuff was ok, but then some absolute bollocks.
Arcade Fire
3/5
Was looking forward to this, I'd heard good things from people whose musical knowledge I respect. Let's just say, they were wrong.
It's not a bad album, per say, or bad music; just extremely conforming to the typical noughties indie stuff that was around at the time.
Not my style personally, and nothing on this album really stands out, or gives me much to write home about. Overall, inoffensive and listenable, but bland, and fairly mainstream.
The Youngbloods
3/5
Again, another fairly inoffensive, but dull album. Did nothing for me. Some of my kinda music as well, so was pretty disappointed. Not bad, just nothing outstanding.
Suede
3/5
Didn't mind this, knew of their stuff, but none of these tracks. Nothing groundbreaking, but listenable.
Blur
2/5
Blur is a band of two halves. The singles are fantastic, the rest is just garbage. This album is no different. A shame really as I was looking forward to this one.
1/5
Not a good album. Very chaotic, but not in a good way. I don't feel like my music experience is better for hearing it tbh. Much better jazz and anarchic music out there.
Sonic Youth
3/5
Better than the last Sonic Youth album I listened to. Still not the best stuff I've heard, but better. Clearly influential, so I understand it being on the list, but there's a lot better stuff out there that I'd rather listen to, personally.
Jeff Buckley
2/5
Went into this with some bias, as I really think Buckley is massively overrated. But I thought it best to try be openminded and listen to his other stuff. Nope, I as right first time. His version of Hallelujah is genuinely painful, and so overhyped, and the rest of these songs are insulting to listen to. There is nothing that justifies the hype, nor inclusion of this album in my opinion. The man died, so a tortured artist he must be. Not one for me this I'm afraid.
The Doors
3/5
Not a bad album at all. I enjoy the Doors. This one isn't their best in my opinion though, but very listenable.
Barry Adamson
4/5
Really didn't know what to expect with this album. Definitely a grower. Very strange and different. Not my usual taste, but can't knock it down on marks for my preferences, when it shows such skill and individuality.
Bob Dylan
3/5
Dylan really is one of the greatest songwriters, just not the best singers. Some amazing stuff here and some not so good. A fairly background album, but enjoyable.
Portishead
4/5
Fantastic album. Chill, deep, no skippable tracks. Just a great album overall.
The Shamen
2/5
Other than the opening track, which is a great single, there isn't much that stands out on this album. A fairly decent 90s dance album, but not exactly something that I feel is an essential album to listen to.
Everything But The Girl
2/5
Clearly a marmite album. Didn't do much for me, got rather bored listening to it. Each song about the same subject, and not the most exciting of music. Overall, not a bad album in the sense of the music, but really nothing to write home about. And a must listen to? Not really sure about that.
Ray Charles
3/5
Ray Charles is legendary. Some of the greatest and most influential stuff. But this album is mostly background listening. It's not bad at all, it's just not anything profound.
Steely Dan
4/5
Enjoyed this one. Dunno if it was the weather coupled with the yacht rock stylings, but it just worked for me today. Nothing too exciting, but really good despite not being anything more than what it was.
3/5
Some good memories of listening to Loretta Lynn with my nan. Not a bad album, very listenable, but nothing that stood out for me again. Would happily listen to this, but wouldn't choose to put it on personally.
The Streets
3/5
Was looking forward to this album. Definitive British album, and an album of its time. Was somewhat disappointed with it though overall. Not a bad album but some shit songs interspersed with good ones.
Green Day
4/5
Fantastic album again. Iconic, influential, and just great songs. Some stuff I'd forgotten about on here.
KISS
4/5
Kiss are a set of dickheads. But they do have some great tunes. This album has some of their best. However, they're another band with fantastic singles and lots of filler. Luckily this has more of the former than the latter.
Bad Brains
3/5
Disappointed with this. Really enjoyed it, definitely my kind of music. But when I read up on it, and saw the influences and apparent stylings, it felt lacking. I guess I just wanted and expected more. Will have to look into more of their stuff.
Ananda Shankar
4/5
What a weird and wonderful album this was. Really had no clue what to expect, and came away pleasantly surprised. Not something I'd listen to all the time, but happily in the background. Some great covers, and a few decent original songs. Definitely worth a listen at least once.
Talking Heads
3/5
Slightly disappointed with this album. Expected much more from it really. Still enjoyable, just not as good as I'd thought it would be.
Serge Gainsbourg
4/5
Extremely problematic theme aside, the music and flow of this album was great. Not something I'd be all over, but very listenable. Clearly artistic, but jesus, what the fuck.
Prince
5/5
Another perfect album. Every song could have been a single, every one perfectly flows into the next. Just a banger from start to finish
The Flaming Lips
4/5
Didn't like this at first. Didn't expect to come round to it either. Couple of plays through and really enjoy it.
Throbbing Gristle
3/5
What a divisive album. Understandably. Wasn't keen on this to begin with. Didn't do much for me on the first listen through. But once I listened a couple of times, I appreciated it a bit more. Definitely can see why people don't like it, but I can also appreciate those who love it. It's clearly influential for the time.
Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
3/5
Random album again. Rather enjoyable though
Definitely marmite.
Beatles
3/5
Fairy decent Beatles album, some of their singles. Not the most exciting stuff though, very pedestrian, and boring for me.
Depeche Mode
3/5
Not a bad album, juts very samey. I'm not the biggest Depeche Mode fan, but I can appreciate them for being different and interesting. However, this album had some good stuff, and lots of crap in my opinion.
Elbow
2/5
I genuinely can't stand Elbow, so I really wasn't looking forward to this. It had two singles from them that I really don't like as well. To be honest, it's not a terrible album. It's just really not for me. I can't rate them too low because of my own distaste, but I don't think there is anything stand out about this album.
Coldplay
3/5
Again, a somewhat biased view here as I am not a Coldplay fan at all. Wasn't looking forward to this album, and didn't enjoy both listens through tbh. It wasn't as bad as expected though, still listenable, but I just really can't see what it is that people seem to think makes them such passive stars. A must hear album? Not sure.
Metallica
4/5
Fantastic album. No skips on this. Gets weaker towards the end, but still all bangers. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this over and over today, much needed after a couple of days of garbage.
50 Cent
3/5
Not a bad album, but much more poppy hip-hop than what I like really. I did enjoy it though, and most of his hits on this.
Silver Jews
2/5
Was this satire? AI? A bet? This sounded like a poor Tom Petty impression, with lyrics written to be as depressed and country as possible, with deep-sounding meaning behind them, but with not actual substance. Musically it wasn't bad, but christ, when he sang and you listened to his lyrics it was draining.
Mudhoney
3/5
Not a bad album again. Some clearly influential early grunge stuff. But nothing that really jumped out overall. Listenable and fun though
Kraftwerk
3/5
Iconic, influential, interesting. Not all to my taste, but some fantastic songs on here. Can't knock how massive this album really is. Overall a good listen, but some songs grated a little.
Louis Prima
4/5
Really enjoyed this. Some classics that I knew, some new stuff for me. Overall a fun, jazzy, interesting album. One of listen to again.
The Who
2/5
Was interested in this, kinda looking forward to it to. Not the biggest The Who fan, but like some of their stuff, and never listened to an album in its entirety. I appreciate this is a 'rock opera' of sorts, but genuinely, this was the most boring album I've heard in a while. Every song seemed to just be setting up for Pinball Wizard, then coming down from that song. There was nothing else on this album. Just listen to that song alone and you've had a better listening experience. Not really a must listen to in my opinion, but I can get why others feel it is.
Deep Purple
4/5
Really enjoyed this album. Didn't realise how many of these songs I knew. Great back to back. Definitely an album to have in the background and enjoy.
Beatles
4/5
An iconic album, was looking forward to this. Pretty good overall, some of their best songs, and some lesser stuff added in. Overall, an enjoyable listen, and well worth the hype.
James Brown
3/5
Not the biggest fan of live albums. However, you really can't tell this is love, Brown sounds amazing, the band are great. Just not the most exciting of his songs on here to be honest.
Donald Fagen
3/5
Had high expectations for this, as I do like Steely Dan. This however was fairly dull and pedestrian. Nothing really stood out, and I found myself wanting the album over. Shame really.
The Cure
4/5
Great album, extremely atmospheric and surreal. Will sound phenomenal on vinyl. Not quite outstanding enough to get 5 stars, but just a great listening experience throughout.
System Of A Down
4/5
Solid album. Classic from my youth, so some biases again really. Not their best stuff, but thoroughly enjoyable, and a nice change tbh.
Deerhunter
2/5
Extremelu dull 00s indie wank. Nothing really stood out on this one. A must listen to album? Not really sure about that.
Michael Kiwanuka
4/5
Had no clue about this one, but was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyable, and chilled soul stuff. Timeless almost, didn't seem like such a modern album. Definitely something to have on in the background while chilling. Glad to have heard this.
Red Snapper
4/5
Another hidden gem here tbh. Clearly went under the radar because of bigger names at its time. Some great songs, some chill stuff, and just some decent music to listen to overall. Very good stuff, glad to have heard it.
Alice In Chains

What an album. Was looking forward to this, and it absolutely blew me away more than expected. Just pure angst, self hate, loathing, and pain all rolled into one. How I've not listened to this in its entirety before is beyond me. Just an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
