Some songs are good!

This album is really growing on me the more I listen to it. The title song, Fuzzy, is really catchy - slow-paced but feels weirdly like it could fit into modern alt/ indie. The Shining Hour and Soft Wolf Tread are a couple more I keep returning to. The Hook was eh. A bit whiny and repetitive. (Even when the lyrics aren’t great the instruments do carry though)

The genre / music generally isn’t for me! But I really respect her talent and writing. Wish I liked it more tbh

2.5 stars? Very country and slow Some songs are pretty, but I’m fussy about country on a good day and this doesn’t really hit. 1st song is one of the my favourites. And then Las Vegas at the end is a fun switch up, a lot more upbeat.

Banstyle I’m really enjoying this. Feels like arctic monkeys decided to sing over some Bratz video game dress-up music? But in the best way possible. Blueski and Stagger were other faves

DNF Vibes, Bullet w butterfly wings Also 1979 & an ode to no one Gooood Loud in a great way, sometimes gets a bit American (??) whiny??

- “50,000 that’s 10% of 500,000” Okay math rock - These tracks are short n sweet - Cohesion is a vibe - Bit too disjointed for me buttt it’s not bad

- “I wanna be a cowboy baby” - uh- nu metal ain’t for me I don’t think - I feel like I should be walking away from an exploding car in slow motion…. - If a kazoo made music

DNF - British boys yelling - Like the depth though - Not melodic enough really for me, but also not loud enough to make up for it - Too repetitive

- I’m excited for this - Shout! - The working hour felt cringe? Idk if I’m just not in the mood - Listen - new fave for me

The dads were right about this one… The range, the ingenuity, the vibesss - 4.6/5 - also excited for this!!! (Apparently roots / blues rock is something I like now?) - Down to the waterline - amazinnggg, surfy adventure vibe - sultans of swing is an ultimate fave for me ever since Alice introduced it to me - Wild West end is a surprise new one for me!!? Slower but doesn’t lose momentum

3.4 - title song has sorta been ruined for me by work :( I don’t want to feel like I’m making the 50th flat white of the day - Rock country? (Looked this up and yes. I’m very good at this genre guessing thing….) - Life in the fast lane is more my speed (aha get it!?) - Wasted time is too ballad-y, but the reprise goes hard - “And you know how to play it so well”
