Pretty meh indie rock. I mean, I liked it fine, but forgot about it after listening.
This wasn't bad at all. I'm not up too much on current music, so I didn't really know this band, but I'd listen to this again.
Completely new to me, but actually pretty good. The album I listened to had a completely unneeded 15 minute version of Soldier at the end, but without that, it's a better album.
I thought this started pretty strong, but went downhill the more I listened. Never got bad, but got completely forgettable.
Never heard of this one before and really enjoyed her voice and listening to this indie/folk thing.
I think I liked this one the least of the three I've heard (two on the original list now this one.) Just didn't do it for me at all.
I really liked the Pink Floyd we listened to in the main list. It was excellent. But I didn't get anything out of this album I didn't get from the studio ones.
I recognize she can sing. But I didn't care or get moved or even interested in any song on this album. It completely faded into the background as I was listening.
Alt-folk stuff, a genre I tend to like, but this one was a little all over the place. Not sure I needed a Tom Waits knockoff on the one song. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it.
It starts off interesting and sort of funny. But then it never varies up, at all, and continues to be the exact same thing for over an hour.
I like this album and it's probably the National's best. I'll listen again.
Just like the Boards of Canada album in the main list, I forgot I was listening to it at one point.
I'm a little torn on this one. I think it's pretty good, and would be a solid 4 if it wasn't for The Old Black Hen. I think I'll leave it as 4, but a little bit reluctantly.
Pretty good post-hardcore emo-ish thing. Enjoyed it and will listen again.
There's some interesting stuff in here, that's for sure. But at no point did I enjoy it.
This is the album I would've picked for the main list. I love this album.
Queen somehow has some of the most amazing songs ever recorded while simultaneously having some of the most meh albums of all time. There is always at least one and usually two or three great songs on an album and the rest of it is just fine. Somebody is great, the rest of the album? It's okay.
I liked some of it, some of it I didn't like. Good blues rock on a lot of the tracks. Probably a 3.5 but that one song that felt like a joke of a country song brings it down.
It's way too long. But it wasn't the worst of this type of music I've had to listen to.
Lots of noisy/chunky guitar and I dug it.
Listening to a mix of country and electronica was not what I was expecting when I woke up. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it, either.
It's fine, inoffensive, pop. My daughter enjoyed listening to it in the car.
I liked this. Seemed like good rock music.
This wasn't really for me. Some of it might've been a little bit interesting but it faded into the background so fast I forgot I was listening to it.
I really dug this for some reason. I think I've heard it a bunch before as it was an album my Dad had. It was good to revisit.
This was pretty much new to me but I really enjoyed it.
This was a good listen, and I'd listen to it again.
Not for me, even a little bit.
Another album I listened to and forgot I was listening to it while it was on
I enjoyed this quite a bit, way more so that I thought I would.
Like most Zappa I find some of it very interesting and some if it too weird for me. I liked this one about the same as the ones on the main list.
Another brand new to me album and one I liked a lot. Like a whole lot. Not surprised to learn who produced it after reading about it afterwards.
It's that driving guitar noise rock thing that I just really like.
Not my typical style of music, but nothing here to really dislike, either. It was fine,
I have to admit that I've never listened to this before. My wife has, and she likes it a lot. I can see why, for a pure pop/pop-dance album, it's not bad. It's better than Madonna's later albums at least.
The middle to middle to end of the album dragged a bit. Cut this down to 40 minutes and it's a very good album.
CAKE might be the worst band I've ever seen play live, but this album is good.
I didn't really enjoy this. Too much prog, too much of that almost parody of a vocal high pitch voice.
This is such an amazing album. Probably Rosenstock's best and probably my favorite album to come out in the last 10 years. Ah crap, it's just about 10 years old now!
There's a few songs on here that I like but the album itself is just meh overall.
Fast drums, shredding guitars, and vocals that aren't terrible. Seems like metal I would enjoy more than I did. It's fine.
Actually liked this more than I expected when I saw the genre. Wasn't too noodle-y which is good. A lot of alt-rock type influences which I enjoyed.
This is a perfectly enjoyable to listen to series of mashups. But is it an album? That I'm not sure about.
I think this is the first time I listened to this album all the way through. And my first impressions are that this is not my favorite The Who album.
This was weird but not in a bad way. I could see listening to this again.
This was a new one to me, but I enjoyed it. I'll check this one out again.
This is not my favorite Sum 41 album, but it's fine, I guess. Nothing new here, and I'd probably listen to another of their albums before this one, but I probably wouldn't turn it off, either.
This is good and I'll listen to it again.
Both of my daughters, independently and on different days, asked if it was a new Owl City album.
I have listened to Sublime way to much to not give this the 5 it deserves.
I enjoyed this. Maybe, even for a punk fan like me, it might've been a bit too niche, but I liked it.
I didn't really enjoy this
I enjoyed listening to this.
I didn't enjoy the first albumin the main list. And I liked this one less.
American Jesus hits just as hard in 2026 as it did in 1993.
Not Bad Religion's best album, but it's still excellent and I loved hearing it again.
I quite enjoyed listening to this one! Not quite a 5, but not far off.
Indie college pop that hits all the notes I want from that. If I was to choose one album from them, it probably would've been their first, but this is a great one as well.
I really like blues albums and this seemed to be a good one, but I sort of wish it was just a great blues album from one artist instead of a pseudo-greatest hits album.
I think I liked this one a little more than the Mingus album we had on the original list, I felt it was more accessible.
But I did not finish the original list and think "You know what we need? More jazz."
I liked this okay, but wasn't blown away.
I don't think I liked this quite as much as Bandwagonesque but I liked it a lot.
I liked this. Felt like early Elvis Costello and we all know we need more music like that on the list.
I really enjoyed listening to this one and could see myself doing so again in the right mood.
Pretty standard 70s rock. But it was good.
I liked this one a lot, The Tragically Hip are a band that I don't know as much about as I should
I could see this getting up to a 4 at some point, but it's not quite there yet for me. I liked it a lot more than I was expecting to and some of the more industrial experiments were very interesting and entertaining.
My biggest problem with Tool is my same problem I have with King Crimson, it's their fans.
Tool fans are the vegans of music fandom. You won’t have to ask.
When listening to the main list I made it a point to never skip a song and listen to each and every one. And I really thought that would continue, but I realized life is too short to listen to music I hate as much as this.
This worked for me for a while, but there's no real variation in any of the songs and it leaves me feeling very meh by the end.
BABYMETAL are a joke band, right? That's the only thing that makes sense. Even if I can find some pleasure in a single song, the fact that they have multiple albums boggles my mind.
It's fine. Not a huge fan of the genre but they are good at it.
This was fine. Not really my thing but I enjoyed it.
I liked this a lot. Could see it becoming a favorite.
It was just shy of okay for me.
I liked listening to some dub!
The 80s condensed into a single album. It’s fine, if you like that 80s sound, which I do in small doses.
The singles are better than the rest of the album
I don't know, maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind, but this one didn't click for me.
I thought this was fine. I like The Moldy Peaches and was hoping it would be more like that.
I hated everything about this.
I thought the guitar work was good, but I got so bored by the end.
Didn't know this one. Didn't hate it
This album starts off okay and I enjoyed it quite a bit. But then it keeps going. And going. And going. And never changing.
You can call me a basic bitch, but I just love this album. It's perfect for what it's trying to do.
The main list showed me I didn't dislike country as much as I thought I did.
This album did the opposite.
I thought was going to like this when the music started, that shoegaze/post-punk type guitar and drums were great.
Then the vocals started. I couldn't stand that. This was a chore to get through.
This is for someone, but that someone is not me.
You know how they say not to judge a book by it's cover.
Yeah, I did. I was right. This is terrible
This wasn’t for me. I guess it was fine for those who it was for.
I am flabbergasted that The Weeknd is popular enough to have played The Super Bowl. It makes no sense to me.
Pretty good! Decent emo vibes but with a Foo Fighters sound. I liked this.
I've listened to this album before and liked it, and this was no different. It's a good album. Great? Not quite, but good isn't bad at all!
This was a little better than fine, but not a lot. I'll have to revisit this one in the future and see if it grabs me on a second listen.
I tried to explain to my daughters what shoegaze was but they didn't ever quite get it. But I like it.
I liked this more than I thought I would from the cover. But I find that I like outlaw country a lot more than I thought.
I hate modern country, but they made some killer albums in the 70s
Complete waste of time. Just do the exact same thing on repetition and call it a song.
I didn't like this as much as I did The Cure albums on the main list. But it's fine
I enjoyed this one, except for the last track.
I really disliked this one and couldn't finish it.
So strange, I expected to hate this one and I ended up quite enjoying it. Mix of jazz with some punk/post-punk/maybe a touch of ska? It was interesting for sure.
