Like the sample based songs (chipmunk style). Didn’t like synth based songs.

Not great retro-rock. Prefer much more Tame Impala and Motorpsycho.

Nice mix of instrumental jazz tracks and pop songs. Not a big fan of brass in general, but good stuff.

This clearly inspired Daft Punk and the likes. Great upbeat disco, bouncy bass lines, funky guitar riffs.

I was aware of this album but never listened properly. I understand better why people have very high opinion of it. At times it sounds like Nirvana, REM, etc.

This was literally everywhere back then. A few classic songs, but many others are less memorable. Not that amazing in retrospect, but slightly biased due to nostalgia.
