Reviews (page 13 of 14)
This was okay. Nice to have it just playing in the background. Felt like not much was going on, was just building up to something and never reached the peak.
I know this is highly regarded, but I just cannot get into jazz.
ok
2- Stars (4/15)
Meh - a jazz album that I didn’t turn off but can’t say I really enjoyed it it will ever listen to again
Sorry but I just don't get Miles
In 2001, Columbia Legacy and Sony Music released the three-disc box set The Complete In a Silent Way Sessions, which includes additional tracks. additional tracks? that's not hard when the original record only has 2 tracks! 2 tracks 2 stars, reading the reviews people are desperate to "get this", there's no need.
Cant get into jazz. Just cant. One long song
Kinda boring tbph
In a break from tradition I won’t be giving this jazz album a 1. I have to respect a man who can be at the top of his profession for his chosen instrument, and a very dull one-dimensional instrument at that. This was listenable and in places a recognisable song almost broke out. It was much more easy listening (I hate that genre/term) but it meant I was able to complete the whole listening experience without wanting to punch a wall.
5/10 This was heavily on the fusion side of jazz fusion - very rock influenced. Not bad, just not great. Really well played, good music but more of an ambient listen than one full of melody and ear worms. Could see this as a soundtrack in an indie film. Can recognise this sound in post-rock music like Tortoise Best: there were only 2 tracks! The first one I guess
Beautiful but boring. I like lyrics.
A little too silent for me.
Musically it's good but not for me
This is indeed jazz
song:shhh/peaceful i kind of like this song it would be good for putting someone on hold and i hate when i just hear my mom waiting for someone on the phone and the same song keeps playing and playing Song: In a silent way i love this song it is very calm and it makes you sleepy and relaxed so i recommend this one but at the end it kind of gets creepy and off pitched just a tiny bit
I don't like this song because it lacks words. It's too peaceful. Maybe I would recommend it only to people who like music without words and jazz. I don't like this song because it's very silent and has no words
Shhh peacful: in my onpinion i dont like it becuase it only jazz and i wish there was lyrics so it could be better it a good song to make you feel calm at parties or dancing If you like jazz this maybe the song for you becuase it has jazzbut no lyrics to cover the sound of the instruments like the drumpet its pretty fast and relaxing empressive for jazz. In a silent way: this song in so calm i think it could even make you sleep peacefuly becuase it has slow jazz and theres no loud bang or anything
Minus 3 stars because I'm a philistine
I still don't get it. Maybe one day I will, but I was bored, bored, bored by this.
I feel bad giving this a low score, but it just didn't do much for me. It's About That Time gets a 4 though
I tried to listen to this while working and it stressed me out too much.
I already knew I was not the type of person who appreciates jazz, but this one was less enjoyable than maybe all the other jazz albums on this list. It largely sounded like elevator music to me, with only brief forays into something interesting. A real shame since I was taught by "Billy Madison" that Miles Davis is the coolest person ever. 1.7
I know Miles Davis has some really influential work. This felt like background music. Surely there are other jazz albums one “must hear” out there.
I really hate to say this but I don't get the hype. Unlike that other jazz album I got this just seemed like a whole bunch of doing a lot without any purpose. It was pretty peaceful though, good to do homework to. Fav Songs: Shh/Peaceful
Para pensar o para recordar.
It was nice. Sometimes this album generator weirdly syncs with what I need in my life at a particular moment. This oddly came the day before Christmas, leaving a 14 hour retail management job and all the chaos that entails. It was just a nice sense of peace to drive home to.
Just not my cup of tea…
jazzy but nothing more to it
Sounds like the soundtrack to a movie. It's not interesting enough without the movie.
Not as unlistenable as Miles Davis albums I've previously encountered in this 1001. It felt like a soundtrack to a noir detective TV show from the 70s. I felt I should be driving round some rain soaked nighttime streets, chain smoking, giving a running monologue to the rearviewmirror.
Nur zwei Titel. Interessant.
There are parts I liked, and parts I didn't like. Not sure how else to expand on it beyond that.
Like the soundtrack to an early 70s crime drama. 2
not my cup of tea
Again, I'm not cool enough for Miles Davis. 2/5
This was much better than previous miles davis album I got, but it was still meh
Not my cup of tea, but I can see the value and artistry in this album
Obviously the playing is impressive but I’m not a musician and so there’s nothing to hang onto for a layman
Why all the waiting for something to happen? 13 minutes into the second song, the album has it's climax but it's gone before you really get a release. Then just more waiting.
the former jazz band kid in me has to give this at least a 2. i didn't like it and again i'm trying to stay ALIVE AWAKE ALERT ENTHUSIASTIC while working. this made me feel like i was in dreamland. pretty cool he recorded it all in one day! but i can say that i'll probably never listen to this again until maybe my mid life crisis when i rediscover my love for jazz or something like that. i like 'in a silent way' better than the first song fs! daily dad update: no response, he must not like jazz
Funky jazz vibes. Not something I would choose to listen to but I can understand why people might like this
I don’t understand jazz I guess. It’s fine. I’m sure in a historical context I would be more impressed. It’s not as jarring as other jazz I’ve listened to. Not my jam.
Listen to this made me feel anxious. Clearly not the right headspace for me for this album on this day.
I keep hoping this album will be better, but each time I hear it I'm disappointed.
It’s jazz alright
Previously rated: Birth of the Cool (3/5) Kind of Blue (3/5) Bitches Brew (3/5) ************************ Side A doesn't really go anywhere. Side B is just kind of boring.
A lot of jazzy elevator music vibes, but in a good way. Not huge into instrumental only albums so this didn’t hold my attention much. There were some stand out moments towards the end of the album where the feel changes a lot. This is a nice background music album but I probably wouldn’t search it out again.
Second miles Davis album inside of a week, I just can't seem to enjoy his music. Low 2.
The trumpet was nice but the music was not for me.
Nope. Boring and too long It was alright on the whole, but there were some awful screechy trumpet noises that made me want to cry I wish I could have listened to this In A Silent Way 2 ⭐️
Absolutely not my style
Boring first half and not as boring second half
As far as 20 minute jazz songs go, this was surprisingly listenable just pretty boring. What are we doing here
+: 2 numre. -: Ja....zzzzZzzzZzz
38 min. 2 numre.
This is my third Miles Davis album so far and my least favorite of the three. I normally like his music reasonably well but there was something about this that I didn't care for.
..
Nope.
I just don’t know what separates good jazz from bad jazz. I can tell you I liked this album more than the last miles Davis album I listened to. This was much more interesting, lots of electronic, computer-ish sounds. Still, at its core, it’s jazz. Is it good? Who know! But I’ll never listen to it on purpose.
Not for me
Uneventful
2.5. I'm glad I held on as there were parts of the second track I really enjoyed.. but it felt like hard work. Is Jazz meant to feel like that? Probably. I tried!
I very much respect Miles Davis and the influence he’s had however I just can never ever get into him. His songs to me are just very boring and lengthy- I do understand that’s the point and it’s supposed to be like that but it just drags on and I can’t deal with it. I do recognize he is very good though.
The 2 ratings on me. I get that. Best left up to jazz fans to rate. I could dig it in the background over dinner in a nice joint.
Listen, it's obviously good and creative. I just can't do 20 minutes songs.
A difficult album, sadly, with a great band. The Weather Report version of In A Silent Way on 8:30, however, is much better.
For my first album this was a disappointment. Not a big fan of fusion jazz! I can appreciate the talent but not what I want to listen to!
After reading all the 5 star reviews, I feel like Stevie Wonder at an art gallery. What am I missing here? Cool ambient background vibe, I guess, if you’re occupied by something else…but I was expecting more.
DID NOT LISTEN - Couldn't be bothered, way too drab for a Monday…
I am having a hard with music that has no focal points, no riff or anything that repeats itself. I might too be stupid, or not musical enough to catch this, but I dont.
Well, I gave it the old college try. In the same way that not every improv skit is amazing, neither is every jazz song. These could’ve done with judicious cutting and although I Really enjoyed the beginning of the second song, but it quickly settled into the same rhythm as the first, what I think of as train wheels clacking (chugga chugga, chugga chugga) that drove me a little nuts after a while. Didn’t hate it viscerally but it’s just not something I loved.
Boring
Not my cup of tea. Ok for background music
first song was okay at best. second song was a resident sleeper
I liked this a little more than Bitches Brew but I still didn't like it
I can recognize how much musicianship and talent went into it, but have no desire to ever listen to it again.
i didnt get it YNN
I don’t get it
Very happy to see only 2 songs in this album. It sounded good, pretty uneventful. Like other jazz albums, can't really appreciate it much, isn't my thing.
I don't get Miles Davis and I probably never will and that's fine with me. This bores me so much. It's not 1 star bad but it's just not something I'd ever want to listen to. Enjoy fawning over this, I'll be making the dismissive "jerking off" hand gesture while you berate me for being a pleb.
I guess it's good. 2 stars.
Dnf but pretty!
I listened to the album a few times, and it made no impression on me. "Kind of Blue" is a masterpiece. This one is forgettable.
I almost fell asleep at parts but maybe not in a bday way? I'm almost just tired from traveling right now. This was a good background listen, not particularly enthralling but well paced
STANDOUTS: n/a OVERALL: 2/5
I dunno - just not my thing.
Ya like JAZZ? Sometimes, but not this album. All I could focus on during track 1 is the constant hats, and sometimes it feels like too much or the song overstays its welcome. Track 2 feels long but it's better than track 1 as the hats are gone and it is smoother and calmer.
Very chill, chill to the point of boredom. This is not for me at all. This is perfect lift or hold music. Jazz fusion, never again!!! Favourite song: either track 1 or 2 Least favourite: either track 1 or 2 Album artwork: meh
Some great parts, but a little too “out there” for me. Big fan of his earlier and later work.
I can handle lighter jazz, this one is difficult for me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ because it is very good music.
This was fine to listen to in the background while I was doing other things. The length was appropriate; I wouldn't have wanted to listen to it for much longer than this
OK. To me sounds tuneless and meandering. Too hard for me to get into, not accessible.
nice background music
Sorry Miles, nice chili music but didn't grab me
It’s okay but not my taste.
not my thing
I know everyone likes Miles Davis but man I just couldn’t go through with it, I’m giving it a 2 as opposed to 1 because there is something there, it just fails to reach me
Not my style of jazz.
Like Miles Davis but this was not the best. Sound was very different that most of his music.
Just about tolerable Jazz
really nice background music. lot of talent and cool to see its influences on rock, but overall just really boring jazz
Just don't care for jamming jazz. Very talented though.
you know the music they play when your on hold? yeah this is it + the occasional trumpet that makes it worse. (also y'all really rated to pimp a butterfly and this the same? what's wrong with you people). Also both songs sound the same except one has a mushy tambourine mixed in and also both songs are twenty minutes. on the verge of giving this one star.
It was very interesting, but whilst I know it was as influential, it was not to my tastes.
- 2 songs is insane efficiency - Pretty chill vibe - 2.5 but wouldn't go back to it so round down
- jazzy, a little chaotic at times -2.5
Too Jazzy? 2.5 / 5
Jazz entdeckt E-Instrumente. Die Anfänge. Sehr speziell und wirkt eben wie "ausprobieren"
Not my fav jazz
For sure musically great but simply not my prefered gengre.
Vibes: big city, ambient
So ill-equipped to judge this sort of thing. Can't say experimental jazz has ever been my thing though
misleading, not silent.
Jam band style jazz. Nothing really grabbed me
good for on hold/elevator music but bad for listening to for fun
There are more than 10 Miles Davis records that contain some of the most beautiful music ever made. This is not one of them. These free-form, push-the-envelope-at-all-costs, modal jam sessions have aged about as well as Grateful Dead live tapes. The idea that someone who doesn't know Miles would leave their participation in this project believing that THIS is what his music sounds like is almost tragic. (In no particular order: The Birth of Cool, The New Miles Davis Quintet, Cookin', Relaxin', Workin', Steamin', Round About Midnight, Some Day My Prince Will Come, Kind of Blue, Somethin' Else, Milestones, E.S.P.)
Noodling nonsense elevator music
I don't know
Bravo Miles tu as réussi à gratter une étoile par rapport à ton album d'hier
Another “icon” I don’t understand. This rambling improv with no real discernible structure or melody or chord progression or direction going on and on in 18-20 minute pieces is maddening. Not as bad as some that I’ve heard but not really something I’m eager to repeat. I’ll give it two stars because there is definitely music I hate more than this….just not at this moment.
Unfortunately, this kind of improv jazz is really not my thing. 20 minutes of a song that always sounds like it's just about to start.
I don’t really get jazz, there was one line in the second song which I liked but I just can’t get into jazz
Not my kind of music. Nice, but not my favorite.
Kind of Poo
2 songs.... all Jazz... Objectively I don't think this is bad, I only just recently started dipping my toes into jazz music and I Iike some of it. But this just wasn't it for me. I'm personally biased against songs longer than 7 minutes. There's nothing for me to really grab at, I can see how this would be nice to listen to on hold with your insurance company but I can't do it!!! ⭐⭐1/2
Listened Before? N I have massive respect for this man as an artist. Wonderful skills and arrangement. That being said, it's really not my thing. It starts to sound very same-y after a while and I don't think I'm in the right decade to appreciate it. Added to Library? N Songs added to playlist: Shhh/Peaceful
Music you appreciate and music you like, yeah I appreciate jazz music but It’s not my kinda thing especially like slower tamer jazz like the 2nd song is. And longer compositions might certainly be interesting but not for me not without some lyrics. 2/5
Had a nice aesthetic to it, but was otherwise really bland. I swear the drums were just on a loop
Jazz jazz jazz whatever
First dabble into Miles and still not a big fan of jazz/fusion. Found the first half chaotic, noodly and directionless. Enjoyed the second half more and could contentedly work with it on in the background. That said, I’m quite happy to work with music on that is actually a lot more melodic and deliberate than this. It’s a 1.5 but I’m rounding up because it’s definitely not offensively bad.
Didn't grab me. Some interesting bits but I like a lot of his other work more.
I liked this recording. Just enough.
Boring
Nicht ganz meins
Jazz is not my thing. I know this is great jazz. I need to force myself to pay attention, or it just fades our my of my consciousness. Good dinner/conversation music.
I'm convinced that no one actually likes jazz and they just say they like jazz because they think it makes them seem sophisticated. I'll give it a 2 because at least it was just boring instead of utterly unlistenable cacophony like some jazz.
I know this is a classic but not my cup of tea
Diddlee skidaap boop boop
Jammy. Songs are forever long. Kept waiting for something to happen.
Het eerste nummer is veel te vaag. Het doet me daardoor niet veel. 1 ster. 3,5 ster. Gemiddeld: een 2 plus
jazz. not the biggest fan of it but it was vibey while I cleaned and packed.
Known Before: Standouts: 3.0
Not bad. Jazz just doesn’t do it for me I guess
So talented but I CANNOT listen to another Miles album. I can’t. Lol.
Not the vibe for the day, maybe I’d like it more in a different setting
The trumpet parts were listenable but the backing tracks - organ, drums were so dated sounding that it really ruined this music for me. Jazz is already not my thing and to have something so of it’s time instead of timeless made this unenjoyable. Extra star for Miles Davis’ trumpet
Weird ass jazz
I would have to be in a very specific mood to choose this album. Not a huge fan.
I listened to this while working out. I am sure I would have been more open and attentive to it otherwise. However as is on this listen, nothing grabbed me.
It is jazz. It feels very long, longer than it actually is. I appreciate the artistry but won't listen again.
All for long jazz epics but these really don’t bring enough excitement to the table to justify the runtime. There’s some great flair for mellow jazz here and there, but you have to throw way more spice in to keep things moving over the course of several tens of minutes.
Didn’t really stick with me. I think it is good for background listening.
Shits ass not for me
Not my thing but, there's some talent here.
More like jizz
Good for background noise when trying to concentrate but not what I would call an album I must hear.
Mmm…not my mug of coffee…
Makes you rethink how long 38 minutes are
Not a fan of 15 min songs
Nice dress 😎
Not for me
The album had 2 songs on it. The first song was 18 minutes long with so many instruments going at once that didn’t flow at all, in my opinion. I didn’t care for it.
Jazz but a bit random
Boring to me. Can’t appreciate although it must have a musical value
Big fan of Miles...but not so much his fusion work
Good, if you like jazz, I guess.
Okay, I guess.
Not for me
Kahvilajazzia, en jaksanut kuunnella
Just a bit too out there for me.
2/5 didn't like it but cool jams
It's a bit standard jazz. A lot of it feels like it's music for a 70s crime drama. Doesn't do much for me.
My main problem with jazz is not that it sounds bad, but rather that it just patters along without going anywhere. At the same time, it's marked by too many jarring changes to blend into a nice but unobtrusive background listening mode.
Good but far from my favorite Miles Davis album.
Jazz rock fusion but nothing much to this one for me, was ok.
”In a not so desturbing way” Ei tämä nyt paska ollut mutta ei kyllä oikeen saanut otetteeseenkaan. Terveisin Klara Bris:in porukka. 2/5
Just not my thing, especially in very long doses. I'm sure it's technically amazing
I really tried to like this; and I certainly didn't hate it. There's nothing to hate. It's just a bunch of musicians pissing about for forty minutes. They start of with one idea and they rinse that idea to death. They know what they're doing, so it's never horrible, but it's never really anything. I feel sorry for the bass player playing those same two notes over and over again for nearly twenty minutes of that first track. It's not a 1 since I didn't hate it; but I there's nothing to give it more than a 2.
Hmm it's not for me. Nice short album though interesting it's only 2 songs
nunca me gustó el miles eléctrico. dicho eso, in a silent way tiene un groove hipnótico. zawinul y mclaughlin no suman nada. igual miles sigue siendo miles, aunque sea por ratos.
Background music
Where is the adlibs?
I will be the first to admit that the genius of improvisational jazz is lost on me; I just don't appreciate it. I will say that Miles Davis makes jazz not only ambient on this album, but incredibly ethereal. He also shows off an incredible technical talent that is undeniable. My personal enjoyment of the style and music itself is just rather low.
ive never listened to 36 minutes of trumpet before. keep in mind that this album is literally 2 songs
Another perfectly pleasant listen, but jazz doesn't grab me in the way it does some people. I'm sure it's technically great, and it is a really nice sound, but I struggle to distinguish good jazz from bad jazz (apart from the really experimental stuff, which is either really good or horrific!). 2/5.
I respect Miles Davis, but this kind of extended improvisational Jazz isn't for me. 2/5
Jazz is one of those genres where you don't really know what good or bad forms of it sound like, so you usually just give a generic rating of 2 or 3 stars and say "It was nice as background music". But this time I really took the time to listen, to analyze, to research. I studied this album more than I've ever studied for an exam in my life. I listened to other jazz fusion for reference. I sat for 38 minutes, closed my eyes and truly absorbed the music. After all this effort, all of the valuable time spent, I have come to one conclusion. It was nice as background music.
It served as great background music to start my day, and while I liked it I wouldn’t be able to pick it out from a crowd. Thought it was cool it was only 2 songs
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Staggering talent - but not my cup of tea. Just not silent enough!
This album provoked no strong feelings. I am indifferent. Perfectly acceptable background music.
Cool elevator music.
One of those that was hard to find and I wasn't in the mood for.
I'd never heard this album before. So far so good! I know Miles Davis is a jazz god, so glad I'm getting exposed to this! Will come back to write some more when I've heard it all. Will I still be able to write if I click save? Testing... Yep! chat soon. Very nice soothing music! 2/5 stars
While this record wasn't insulting to my ears, it was difficult to get through, in part due to its inconsistent structure (feeling more like a jam session than an album), the length of the two tracks leading to a great sense of both tracks overstaying their welcome, and an apparent distaste for jazz music I didn't know I had. My thoughts should be taken with a grain of salt since I don't listen to much jazz music at all so I can't observe this album for its cultural and stylistic significance, but on a personal scale it left much to be desired.
I felt like I was in a very long elevator
Free-form jazz is not my thing. Mad flex being 40 mins but only 2 songs though
Jazz improvisation over a repetitive chord change for 20 minutes a song. I know he's a genius, and get the importance of this shift in his music but... well... not for me.
Not for me
A bit boring for me. Elevator music.
Chaotic. Fueled by drugs and jazz.
Load of nothing. This is like the uncanny valley of music. I still fail to grasp how blowing random notes into a trumpet for 40 minutes is high art. Why yes, I am proud of being ignorant. This is a Charles Mingus household.
Este álbum no me gustó tanto. Solo tiene 3 canciones y aunque dure 40 minutos casi, me parece poco
Meh not a fan of it
It's like a collection of various loading screens, but in musical form. There were some really pretty moments during In a Silent Way, where the music was strikingly quiet, poignant, and reserved, but those were rare. The rest of it felt like I was waiting for something more exciting to happen, which ulit never came.
Didn’t really get into this one. Maybe good? Need more time….
I understand that the guy was great, but I could not get into this music. There were parts that sounded like a high school band warming up before a spring concert. It just sounded like noise to me.
Shortest album with just two songs, longest song in 20 min
Meandering and dull. Probably fine to have on in the background when you invite boring people round for dinner. Doesn't do it for me
I like it when there are words lol
5 Not for Me Talenter guy
Long
Phasenweise okay, sonst eher nervig.
A bit slow for my liking
Jazz-fusion is a no
Not my jam.
Smashing expectations by almost playing a tune.
more hushed than hoped
This album was two twenty-minute tracks of improvised jazz. I wasn't impressed by some elements like the horns.
15th July 2022 Listened in the morning while getting the house ready for Jen’s parents to come and stay. Ate in Friday, went to nailsworth Saturday with everyone and woolpack Sunday. I appreciated this more as it went on, but again not my bag. Don’t get experimental jazz, maybe I need to open my mind a bit more.
Jazz
jazz divertido mas pouco envolvente
Ten minutes in and I'm still waiting for the start of, oh, I don't know....a SONG? This is full on wankery-style jazz and more power to you if you're into that but I'm personally not the sort of guy to dip my head in a paint mixer and say that I'm looking at art.
Another jazz record. Got to the end of it so 2 stars.
No matter how much the generator and the book try to get me to like Jazz, I just don't. I didn't turn it off, but I can't see a time I'll put it on again.
Eh it's a jazz album but with some electronic jazz. Thankfully it was not that long of an album.
I really, really dislike jazz fusion. As with Bitches Brew, this album is listenable purely because of Davis' playing. Other than that, I'll continue to run screaming from any album that contains the words "John McLaughlin" and "Chick Corea"!
Yeah nice, Jazz just does nothing for me in an album setting
Jazz. Sure.
Strokes of Jazz brilliance that could be either pleasing or excruciating to the ear depending on taste and mood. It reminds of scenes in smoky bars with intoxicated people appreciating the genius sounds.
Other half of the album is better. John Coltrane’s My Favorite Things started to play immediately after this album and after first few seconds it was clear that I would like the other album better. 2,5 stars.
Harvoin tulee kahden kappaleen levyjä vastaan. Ei säväyttänyt
not terrible but
Hard work
I don´t like jazz
Miles like jazz.
If you like that sort of thing, it's probably great, but I don't.
I was in the right mood, but I still didn’t like it a lot.
Long but not bad
Ilmeisen hienoa musiikkia josta en ymmärrä mitään. Kai ihan taidokasta pimputtelua ja läpsyttelyä. Kahteen kertaan jaksoin kuunnella läpi. Annettakoon piste per kuuntelukerta.
Nothing super stood out for me… but that being said I enjoyed this album and will revisit Miles Davis again for sure.
It's basically just a 38 minute jam session. I know Miles Davis is a fantastic trumpeter, but this is just long and noodley.
Good record
So that was something's edgy only two song thou
Not my favorite Miles Davis album
No
Not my type of music
It was a little too repetitive for me. I prefer Kind of Blue.
Thought I’d get something more out of this
Very chill. Enjoyable to listen to. Was like one big piece of music. Would listen to whilst studying, but not what I'd usually listen to though so probably won't rate it as high as it should be.
Sounded nice but put me to sleep. Not really a jazz guy
false
It gets a 2* for the talent. Not my cup of tea for an album to listen to.
Enjoyable. Good background music.
Good music but I find it boring. The only way I'd play this again is if I had people over, wanted background noise, but nothing so distinct or interesting that it'd be distracting to me or my company. But still, better than Sonic Youth.
ok
Not my cup of tea
Meh. Just background music
Doot doot doot
DNF. Super boring.
Still not a huge fan of Miles, but a landmark album that clear deserves to be on the list. But just background noise to me that I can't get into. Sorry!
Nothing more than background music
Good freestlye jazz kinda music. Not my thing, but quality.
Unimpressed. Maybe I just don’t understand it
Connor: Another album by a big artist that doesn't really live up to some of their other works. It's kinda repetitive and I'm not a huge fan of the instrumentation. There's also not that much Miles Davis on here, which is curious.
Not really to my liking, I don't really enjoy such long songs. Not a fan of jazz. Second song from the album was nice for the first few minutes until the trumpet started playing.
It was good, but just not a big jazz fan and kinda didn’t like how there weren’t lyrics
Ekki mitt kaffi.
Not a jazz guy
Honestly not a fan at this point. Too many albums in fairly quick succession has put me off
The saxophones are getting louder
Dull and uneventful. Miles obviously got his legend status for a reason, but this album doesn't convince me...
Just wasn't doing anything for me
second miles davis album, still didn't finish, will have to boil my body parts again to see if the jazz will stick next time
Pure torture. I will never understand jazz. It’s not pretty. This album was two really long songs. I’m really hoping I’m getting close to done with jazz albums. This was called In a Silent Way, and I wish it really were silent.
Noooo. Jazz nie do zniesienia.
Not my vibe, but can see why it would be good at a cocktail bar
Pero chabon, son dos canciones
I love his earlier stuff this is just horrendous. Makes my brain hurt.
Mm not it for me. Def a wait in line kind of music. I really like the sound of “So what” thou.
1 sone being 18 minutes with no lyrics is definetly not for me
I guess I am not all that interested in jazz
As good as he is, this does nothing for me
