[Angry Noises]

Excellent, cacophonic angry jazz. I've thoroughly enjoyed this, although I quite wish I had played it at a slightly louder volume. Kept it down a touch in deference to my cat, who is sleeping happily on the rug in front of me.

Nearly 600 albums in and this may be my favorite find from the user list. Hard to recall an LP that felt so immediate and gripping on first listen – each of the tracks sets out a simple premise to lure you in, then compounds the griminess, intensity, and volume until you find yourself lost in an overwhelming sonic maelstrom from which there is no escape. Exceptionally executed and produced as well, so many insane instrumental parts clashing against each other, yet each is discernible and clear in the mix. This LP embodied to me what it feels like to currently be alive, one terrible thing happening and then doubling down over and over until there's no hope left to fix it. In a way, it was incredibly cathartic to be enveloped in the absolute chaos and let go of control, yet tap into the communal anger and outrage of the band's performance. It's been years since an album has demanded my attention and emotions to this magnitude – many thanks for adding this incredible work of art to the user list, listening to all the 1-2 star albums is worth it to get a gem like this every hundred albums or so.

Neither Wikipedia or Spotify but the album made up for it, absolute carnage. I’m fairly sure this album came out in 2025 and not this year, though.

I love the noises, even if they are angry. The production is immaculate from the first note. I love the heavy brass. It’s chunky and full and everything I want it to be. Excellent choice. 4/5

Well, this does what it says on the tin. A lot of angry saxophone in use here. I actually kind of liked it… I imagine this could produce some wild results while partaking in certain mind-altering substances.

Hardcore

Interesting at times, headache-inducing at times, boring and repetitive at other times. Overall not bad, but probably won't listen again. 3 stars.

I have a pretty high tolerance for weird and noisy, but this is boring. I'm sure it works well live, but not as an album.
