Rode this one like a wave, up and down. By song three I was enjoying it. A few songs later I was tired of it. I'm not sure I needed two "Tornado Chasing" tracks. It's fine, played well, but would definitely be flagged for plagiarism if it went through one of those scanners. Copies a bit too hard from the likes of Van Halen ("By My Side") and AC/DC ("Game Of Fools"). Favorite track: "You Vs Me"

Very bland and annoying voice.

Uninspiring and generic Hard Rock with mediocre songs.

This album is a fairly straightforward hard rock album with touches of hair metal and glam thrown in. The musicianship is fine and the singer has a great voice for the genre. The lyrics weren’t great however and this album came out 25-30 years too late. There is nothing unique about this album.

TL: DR

Decent execution of the template 80's influenced Rock, but brought absolutely nothing new to my speakers.

Album cover looks like something out of the 80s hair metal cannon, but this was released in 2009. Oh boy... 155 out of the gate sounds like revivalist dad rock with a highly punchable vocalist. Gives me Maneskin or Gretta Van Fleet vibes. I'm not sure I'm going to make it boys. Insult to injury that the band is named after the vocalist, so there is little hope of improvement. Yeah I made it to Roll the Dice then skipped ahead to Game of Fools based on "Plays." If this is the best this album has to offer, it just ain't for me. Some of the soloing shows promise, but otherwise this feels like a soulless recreation of Bad Company (without the benefit of Paul Rodgers) or AC/DC. Given my knee jerk repulsion this earns its 1

Is this Nickelback? This is Viagra hard rock.

Sorry, this is just a “wanna be” album. I wanna be this band, I wanna be that band. This is your typical cover band that somehow swindled someone in to recording them. Unless the lead singer was rich beforehand and losing money everytime they put out an album 🤷🏻‍♂️

I knew to stay away from the album cover and Wiki

Very much not for me. I'm one of the few that gave AC/DC's albums both one stars on the main list, there was no world where I'd be giving this anything higher. I don't even really understand the add, with plenty of other artists having generic hard rock covered thirty years before this album existed. I mean, look at the user who submitted this and you'll probably find I don't think the user exactly listens to anything BUT this kind of music, so... good for them? Do what you enjoy, but don't make everyone else listen to fifty minutes of nothingness.

Meat and potatoes. Let's face it: had this cliché hard rock thing been released in the mid-eighties, maybe it would have reached some sort of "cultural" impact (I'm not even sure, actually, but let's just pretend). Playing that sort of thing 25 years later, though? Well, the skeletons on that awful album cover give you one of the rare "objective" answers the 1001 Albums quest can provide us. Also, seeing the galleries of the user who submitted this album is a very sad thing. Really gives you the impression that said user just hates music overall. Why do some people inflict such harm on themselves? It's just mind-boggling for me. I'm gonna take my own advice now, stop listening to Koritni, and go touch some grass outside.
