I tried this album years ago when it came out. I didn't like it then, I don't like it now. It teeters between a 2 and a 1 for me cause its creative and the skits are cool and all but there are just some parts that make me feel like someone is rubbing my hair in the wrong direction. Wish I could tell you why...

Die Musik und die Stimme des Künstlers sprechen mich weder in Person oder Stil an. Zudem finde ich die häufige Verwendung von F- und N-Worten störend und unsinnig. Auch die Ausführungen über Söhne, die ihre Mutter lieben, empfinde ich nicht als ätzend wen will er beleidigen?

I think this is about the 15th KL album that has appeared as a recommendation to me on here and to be honest it's the first one I listened to because... ANOTHER RAP INDUSTRY RAP ALBUM PRODUCT But I opened my mind up and prepared to be delighted by the lack of cliche and ground breaking originality that this vital modern artist would provide... Wasted my time again didn't I? Swearing, N-Words, boasting, P-Funk rip offs. Man where is the innovation in Hip-Hop? Again, this is wasted on me, just like hair-metal and country there's a market for it and I am not the market. I'm going to listen to The Isleys now until I feel better. Fuck.

Many tracks started with interesting groves, but then they changed. I had to speed run through this album starting with track 2—basically I couldn't stand and of it. This album wasn't for me.

Hip Hop und Rap ist keine hörenswerte Form der Musik für mich. Wohl auch, weil ich den Texten sprachlich nicht folgen kann und die Musik als reine Rhythmusmaschine zur Begleitung verstehe.

It's like a challenging abstract painting in which the noise is in the eye of the beholder. For me, it's ugly, repellant music. Putting it in the context of the lives and tastes of another demographic, it could be meaningful. My rating is for me, though. The cover looks like January 6th.

There's not a single rap album on this planet that needs to be 80 minutes long. I didn't like anything about this one.

Some of the music is ok; kind of funky or jazzy. The lyrics are another story. I think I heard the n word times in this album than I have my whole life! Also, he sounds like Tommy Davidson when he is acting like a little kid.

After a few good intros that leave you wanting more - the wish is unfortunately never fulfilled - boring beats and the same staccato chanting follow. Vocally nothing special either.

Not for me. Definitely not my normal genre choice and I'm not a fan of explicit language - but - I did find the music and lyrics more interesting after taking the extra time to read about each tune and what it meant to the artist.

Was this 2015? Was this #19 Greatest of all time according to a rock magazine? It's not bad and I like parts of it but it's not innovative or original or groundbreaking at all. Anyone who thinks that hasn't listened to much music. Sad we are consumed by the 'New' without reference to what's already been. I hear Prince, a bit of Eminem and even Trip-Hop vibes. Like I say, I like it but it's derivative.

I've heard a lot about Kendrick but I'm not really a fan of rap. First song is super lame, I really really thought this would be different, but it's just about wanting to fuck. Second song he raps about his dick?

Het n-woord? Nee, het f-woord. Is het een generatieding? Ik schrik op elke keer als er schuttingtaal wordt gebruikt. En dat is hier euhm, heel vaak. Verder weer een plaat vol geouwehoer, en wederom haak ik na vijf nummers doodvermoeid af. Ik hoor wel dat men voor dit genre wat originele muzikale wegen inslaat (pianogetingel?!), maar dat helpt allemaal niet.

Okay, I really tried, but this is not my type of music at all. This album is full of political and social commentary, but I couldn't concentrate on the lyrics at all. This record has one song, that somehow strayed away from the overall style of the album and fell much closer to a type of music I like. "The Blacker the Berry" is a great song, and the more straightforward style of beat and rap made it much more digestible for me. But otherwise, I couldn't find anything worth praising. Probably a great album, but maybe it went far above my head.

Thought I would like it but it did nothing for me. Remove the "N" word from the album and most songs will become an instrumental.

Para ser Rap o por lo menos lo que minimamente entiendo como rap, es bastante musical, es decir mas que palabras dichas rapidamente, aunque tiene bastante de eso tambien. De cualquier modo no es lo mio.

Este álbum me costó bastante trabajo escucharlo. De hecho me "forcé" un poco a escucharlo dos veces, pero este estilo de hip hop definitivamente no es lo mío.

A mi parecer el único rapero con voz de pito puede ser Eminem por qué es blanquito, no puedo con la voz de este cabrón y su rapeo intenso y sin sentido. A lo mejor es un disco relevante pero no me aporta nada y no creo que debería estar en la lista
