I hadn't heard his music before, at least not that I remember. I gave this a listen and gave it an honest try. It just doesn't do it for me. It sounds like he's trying to be controversial and provocative in many tracks, and I get it, but it feels too ham-handed for me.

This guys got issues. If he was a god, this album would have been better.

I'm not really surprised that this ends up in my 1-star-shitload-of-crap-dumpster, but I am surprised that there is actually an audience for this... This might be the worst thing I ever heard.

Oh my gosh what a pile of twaddle. There is no doubt that this man had talents, two major ones being that he can convince people to buy his music and also convince women to be his play things, but the musical talent is so misdirected in this album. I wish I could unhear. Also wish I could unsee the video with Kim K - on a bike, facing the wrong way but the wind is blowing her hair out of her face? That what a step too far in expecting me to suspend my disbelief.

It doesn't really sound like anything else I've ever heard, so I guess there's that? I do quite like some of the weird electronic noises throughout, but everything else that goes with it, rapping, lyrical content etc, is shit. I was going to give an extra star for production, but I realised I hated the content so much that I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Kanye West is a piece of shit, and a gay fish.

Every morning for the last six weeks I’ve woken up with pain in my neck, hips, back, shoulders and chest. Muscular, y’know? I’ve recently bought a standing desk for work so it might be that, but to try and get rid of it I’ve started yoga and today bought a new memory foam mattress. I’m 45 so I’m at the age where keeping fit while working from home is tough but I’m determined to give it a go. Fuck Kanye, fuck his music.

I've listened to this album and it's not that I hated it, I just heavily disliked it so with great pleasure, this is my first 1 star rating here. I also can't stand Kanye, the man disgusts me and in this case I won't even try to separate 'the artist' from his 'art'.

Didn't mind some of the beats but no, not for me.

I don't need to listen to any albums by nazi sympathizers before I die.

Fuck this, I'm overlooking the 2-3 songs that sound good and giving this the lowest possible score because the man is a grotesque cunt who doesn't deserve attention. We've had a lot of much older albums in the genre where we excuse some of the content for being in less enlightened times. No way does he get the pass here, especially for the fact it's in every fucking song. Also probably the tipping point for him becoming a galactic self-obsessed arsehole.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkk Kanye

I’ve never really understood why Kanye is so revered. I quite liked that poopy scoopy song he did, but otherwise there hasn’t really been anything that has interested me. I really don’t understand what I’m missing, but listening to this will at least broaden my horizons. Songs I already knew: Bound Favourites: Hold My Liquor I continue to really got see the fuss for Ye. Bound made my laugh because it’s so ridiculous (and also reminded me of the Seth Rogen and James Franco version). Hold My Liquor felt like a genuinely good song, but it was unfortunately the sole instance of anything enjoyable to me. I suppose I’ll continue on in life feeling like Kanye isn’t for me, which I’m fine with as he seems to be a not-very-nice person.

Some of the beats weren’t bad but the lyrics were horrible. So misogynistic and vulgar and honestly basic with repeated rhymes. Not very creative or much talent in my opinion

What a song Black Skinhead is with a brilliant beat! The majority of the album felt like a bad school music project remix that someone made. The random samples that were dropped in at random points of songs were not good and unnecessary. Only enjoyed the one song with the rest of them just being crazy Kanye

Really interesting sounds and textures, but Fuck Kanye

I really wanted to hate this album. Kanye is a horrible person, but I try to listen to the music objectively without clouding my judgement with THE person and their issues. With that being said, Yeezus is a piece of shit, the kind of crap artist's release because they can and gullible people will still buy and praise. This has all the reasons why I can't stand narcissist, Nazi-praising, ego driven lunatics like West. His constant talk of pussy, titties and what's he's going to do with woman and his moronic god complex is summed up in his song, "I Am A God", of course. Not to mention the annoying auto-tune, the ridiculous rap shit he spews, with lyrics which could have been written by a delusional teenage boy. I can't believe I "listened" to the whole thing!

Originally the album already was bad but I would have given it 2.5 stars for the content. However that specific content (Black Skinhead & New Slaves) didn't age. Kanye became the type of person he's criticising on this album. With that the only good part of this album went out the window

With it's elegant and romantic lyrics, perhaps best exemplified by the line "I wanna f**k you hard on a sink.. Step back can't get spunk on a mink" it's no wonder that the world has seen fit to pay Yeezy billions of dollars for the gift that he is to planet earth. Combine that level of romance with the his striving for racial equity and treatment of women in both his lyrics and his personal life and then tack on his clear mental acuity and evolved spirituality and we have the recipe for an international superstar sensation. Wow. This is literally the first time I've listened to a Kanye album. I had no idea it could be like this. Ok back to John Prine now.
