Too ‘murica for me
shit shit shit. not fire. opposite of fire. i hate it, it does not get a song on the playlist
Música aburrida. No le encuentro nada. Encima me da una vibes redneck total 2/10
As boring as it can be from a very overrated singer.
Bit too steady
had no time to listen
This was a hard listen, it's not my kind of music taste hence it took 2 days to finish. Hopefully the next one is better
I'm sorry Willie, but country is the red headed step child.
Disappointing
Il country...
sooo boring, every song is the same
The album is half an hour and I didn't even make it to the halfway point. Sorry, not sorry.
Did not listen
No thanks
I don't get Willy's style and choices. ★
Country.
Lowkey misfire.
Pandering to the country music weirdos
Like Bowie, I've never been a Willie fan. Sorry. Boring.
Geklampfe
Country music is crap
That’s two Willie albums we’ve had now and they’ve both bored me utterly shitless. I just can’t fathom what is remotely interesting about this plodding twee nothingness. Given we had Dolly Parton the day before the difference is stark. Which is a revelation, given I had zero opinion on the difference in country genres before doing this list. Just cheer up Willie, you’re a bloody misery, at least Dolly’s melancholy is upbeat!
Don't like him
I was hopeful that Willie Nelson would be the one to get me to appreciate some classic country. Tragic, that this was not the case.
Biggest load of keech in a long time.
Maybe it was nice in its day? But hell nah man!
I hate country western only slightly less than metal.
Slow country music. I just can’t get into it. Remember Me is the only one that feels kinda bluesy and cool, with a nice little piano solo. Otherwise, all I can picture is the Coen brothers movies and their ironic vibe, redneck music.
Not good fam 👎
Maybe if you got rid of that old yee yee ass haircut you'd get some bitches on your dick
Puh.
Massive snooze fest. 1/5 stars.
Yeah, good old Willie. It's a no from me sorry. He sounded old back then and he sounds old now.
Really not my thing found it to be quite boring
NO
Twang twang twang not my thing twang
Jeez. I know it’s all subjective but this couldn’t be less for me. Is this good within its genre
хрень
it's boring to me tbh like a 1/5
Not for me
point6.
i dont really like it because the lyrics are weird. the second one i dont really like because its just not somthing i would really listen too and i just dont like the lycrics. the third one i would also not listen too i also dont like country music.
If you get album I am sorry
Holy shit every song sounds the same. The instrumentals are sparse and there’s not enough in Nelson’s lyrics or delivery to keep it interesting. Down yonder is the only song that grabs you. There are a few moments here and there, like Bandera but overall a boring listen.
Limp-wrist country
tedious .
Not my cup of tea. Didn't hate it, just did nothing for me
Kinda shit
awful
time of the preacher - piano and guitar, 3/4, bass comes in 1min i couldn't believe it was true - guitar, four on the floor kick pattern time of the preacher theme - kind of a part 2 to the first song, all the elements of the first one medley blue rock montana / red headed stranger - 3/4 time signature, every song is super short at 1-2 mins blue eyes crying in the rain - guitar, slow tempo, harmonies at the last part of the song red headed stranger - snare at beat 1, 3/4, changes to kick at beat 1, snare at 2 & 3 for chorus time of the preacher theme short version - very short just as I am - beautiful piano and guitar denver - nice guitar down yonder - very fast tempo and piano can I sleep in your arms - very pretty piano solo section remember me - nice rhythm hands on the wheel - bass, guitar, 3/4 bandera - guitar and piano, 3/4 Not my style of music I found it to be super boring sounding and wouldn't listen again
Not my kind of vibe
zimli whack, wenn mer nöd grad mitm Pferd dur Prärie rieted. Vlt ja muskialisch na guet, Aber am ne mentig morge sound vo 1975 lose, wo tönt als obs vo 1850 wär isch sehr ahsträngend.
It's hard to imagine Willie Nelson as a young man in any way. He's been an old stoner for as long as I can remember, and while he is associated with music he has been represented more as an icon of past years than a relevant musician during my life. While I'm not upset to hear an old Willie Nelson album there's really nothing here for me. It's a handful of very short, relatively slow blues country songs, none of which stay with me after a listen. I imagine I could listen any of the many albums in his collection and lump them together as skippable. I don't identify with this genre in any way so overall its just a skip from me. 1.3 stars
I’m not a fan of Country music, and this did nothing to change my prejudices. Even if I am a red head.
Did not listen
Country music is lost on me.
Not my genre.
I tend to avoid Country music as I’ve always felt it was one of the worst genres, a brief listen to some of this album confirmed my bias. Awful.
Boring, not for me.
No
Pretty enjoyable, such a great voice, relaxes me!
this is unironically redneck-country "my wife left me for another man and i sleep under the stars" lol NNN
Bit country
wowee, this is pretty lame. What is Willie doing here? These songs are so sleepy. The lack of song structure doesn't subvert anything, it just makes it hard to get into.
Una verga el country
nudy
The sound track from olde Western Bar scenes.
Jesus Christ Almighty - how has this dude made an epic and legendary career out of delivering this kind of country by numbers bollocks?
Not a fan of Willie Nelson at all
I'm not really into country music
Not my thing at all, listened to it but just couldn’t get into it at all
Boring
Country halt…
This is definitely not for me...
Rebel country Willie is much better
wasn’t kept interested at all actually
I’ve never been a fan of Willie Nelson, and Red Headed Stranger didn’t change that for me. While I can appreciate its place in music history, I found the album quite slow and unengaging. It just didn’t hold my attention, and I won’t be revisiting it.
Just say no to country & western kids.
Too old and boring sound for me
Listen, if I was about 70 years old, and LOVED country, I would like this. However, I HATE country music with a passion, especially THIS type of country music. Willie Nelson is cool and all I guess, but I can’t wifh the music.
It's definitely not my thing.
Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain is lovely, but Nelson just isn’t my cup of tea. Not sure what part of my life a Willie Nelson song could be useful for.
It’s a hard no. Listened to this in the gym. It was not a vibe.
People love Willie and I tried to hear why but didn’t.
Country nope
i hate country
White Country Blues - lonly man
Test
Nah, not my thing. I will say, though, some of the guitar work was nice - e.g. I Couldn't Believe It Was True. It wouldn't be an album I'd put on and listen to, so for that reason it's a 1 star for Willie.
No.
Inoffensive but didn’t finish
not my type
I couldn't listen to any of the songs. I cannot stand his whiny voice.
crap
can't listen to it
Not a fan
zazdaz
1/5 - The first 2/3's is so slow. W/ the last four tracks being slightly worse than mediocre, but a very welcome change of pace for someone that has listened to the whole album in one sitting. I don't know, I typically have really enjoyed every Willie song I've come across in my life, but this album does not do it at all for me. The only bit i enjoyed was the first 45 seconds of "Time of the Preacher" - which is the first 45 seconds of the album. It starts slow, melancholy and daunting, but never goes anywhere from there. Aside from "Can I Sleep in Your Arms" - it seems Willie forgot he was an incredibly talented musician on this one.
Not a fan
Not a single interesting song and the voice is pretty irritating
Absolutely not for me
I've never been a fan of country music, but I was familiar with the opening song "Time of the Preacher" from the BBC series "Edge of Darkness".
No thanks
Boring
Country. Inmediata 1 estrella
God this was bad, like eagles level bad. Don’t give me anything like this again or I’m out.
Really hated this
Bored
Red headed arse.
No no no no no no no no no... really bad, can't cope, sooooo bad.
All sounds the same!
Country shit
No thank you
Ew
Nesu tokio tipo muzikos megejas, tad albumas nepatiko visiskai. Vienintele palaima kad daugelis dainu nesekia 2 min. MEGSTAMU DAINU CIA NESURADAU

Shite
More country more bore
Ugh.
Look, I like Willie Nelson. He's a cool guy (I assume) and I want to like this, but I just don't care for it. There's some decent tunes here and there, I just can't get into anything country related...
Ouf. C’est bien senti par contre. On sent l’authenticité.
Just no
Nope. Too country.
