Meh
Do not waste your time.
About 10 minutes into the album I had to check which song it was up to and was surprised to discover I was on track 2. I would have believe 1 and I would have believe 4.
An hour was more time than I had. Not for me. ⭐
Pan sin sal, sangre de horchata, manos de mantequilla, un árbol de Navidad sin bolas, una barbacoa sin panceta...
pass
Cero interés
Oh god another one of this kind...
Britpop should have never left the Home Nations. 0.5/5
Not great
Not my thing
Whole lotta hogwalash
Bland, banal, overlong. Shoulda been Storm in Heaven by the Verve
I stopped listening during track two. Dirge-like and uninspired crap.
Tried to get all the way through. Got to Hard on for Jesus and gave up. There's just nothing there. I'd rather listen to clanker music.
This was so samey that to be honest at the end of my second listen I just came away feeling tired. Not for me at all.
15 minutes of fame that should never have happened.
This was very long. Wa-a-ay too long. Indie-by-numbers slop.
totally snoozed through this one. Never even knew the Dandy Warhol’s were a thing, and I still wish I didn’t.
Everything people think is bad about 90’s music is this album
I want my 3 hours back. I know the album is only a little over an hour. But bloody Hell, the droning and sameness of it all made it feel like it was 3 hours.
I couldn't get into this. The Dandy Warhols just sound so fake and inauthentic. Very generic. An American band regurgitating Britpop half a decade too late. BJM won the fight.
Plain indie : not very good at all, self-indulgent, derivative, and far too long. Just because there is room on the CD, that does not mean that the band should fill it up with thin gruel like the 6 minutes and 9 minutes of the last two tracks This would have been a better listening experience at half the length. It might even have got a second star.
This just came off as depressing boring sad stuff. They officially lost me at ‘I love you’ and then I just got annoyed at how much left there was. This dragged on and I didn’t enjoy.
Impressively boring.
Nah. I do not like this stoner-y, garage, mumble rock. Some of the lyrics (the ones that were there) left a bad taste in my mouth. Pass
Boring, mid indie for hipsters who dig too far for meaning in a song.
Not a good sign when, listening to the first track, you think to yourself: this just goes on and on...
Yet more American cr*p.
boring
Meh, too pop for me. I can understand the appeal but it’s just not for me
Just boring masturbatory shit
boring. couldn’t listen
So not my thing.
Pffff
Didn’t find this album that good
Jesus Christ get to the point! This record is 90% droning with nothing happening. What was the point of, "Pete international airport"? What the fuck?!?
Blaaaand
I didn’t like it. I found it boring and almost couldnt finish it
Noise
That was soooooo boring. I skipped through every song.
Oh wow did I hate that. Every song is too long. Every song is so very boring. There's not one element that I enjoyed. By the time I got to Hard On For Jesus I knew this was a 1. I know not everyone shares my religious views. I'm not a stranger to anti-religious songs, I even enjoy some of them if I'm being honest, but this one wasn't even remotely clever and just made me even madder. What a terrible album.
I guess 1 star? I got bored of this and clicked away quickly, but I put on some modern stuff of theirs and like it better, so I might let it ride some.
Muita pretensão, tentativas que parecer com rock setentista ou REM.
Hard pass
… passt nicht!
Schrecklich
nicht das meine
Wall of sound 90s alt-rock/pop art rock. Vocals often muted behind the wall of sound and really nothing here that is particularly enjoyable or remarkable. At their best sound a little like Oasis. Hard for me to understand how this is on the top 1001 list other than I enjoy the song with the lyric "heroin is so passe."
More boring that i thought it would be. Blah. One good song. The creep Out is unlistenable. Really struggled to finish this one.
Yuck!
Maybe 1 decent Track.
Really didn’t like it at all
After almost 1,000 albums there’s one thing I’ve learned is that I really dislike Brit-pop and this group sounds like an Oasis wannabe band. Needless to say, I disliked it.
