Why the hell is this on the list? Punk Ska? Nah man i'm cool. This might be it for somebody else. but DEFINITELY not me
ass cheeks bro I can’t get behind this music, im sorry
Meh
Completely grating. Nothing interesting. How is this on the list? Will never, ever, listen to this again.
Not really for me. Shouty but somehow didn't really feel the energy that typically accompanies this type of music. Probably the first album on this list that was truly a slog to get through. Largely forgettable post punk with a couple of decent tracks ("Come See, Come Saw," for example)
They thought they could compose 3 songs and then sell a 14 song record with only those 3? Clever
HUUUUUDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HUUTAAAAAKAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAALRIIIIIIIIIGHT AAAAAAAALRIGTHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT AAALLLLLLLLLRRRRRRRRIIIIIIGGHTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!! fat lip

Not my type of music
Hard rock. Pass
I do really enjoy Rock and metal but this just wasn’t doing it for me.
This was rubbish. It’s gonna be harsh giving it 1 star but it’s not as interesting even as latest 2 stars
This album sounded like a very average garage band. Every track almost identical. I will never play this album again, absolute shite.
Not good.
Hanging on a rope, on a rope, on a rope around my neck so i dont have to listen to anymore of this album.
More rubbish.
I have friends that would probably listen to this, but I gravitated towards much more accomplished artists in this era.
Not for me
STANDOUTS: n/a; DNF OVERALL: 1/5; truly awful—gives off school shooter energy
Too late for punk. No patience for a punk from the 1990s
Certainly had me screaming... but mainly screaming to stop the noise!
Not for me. This album made me want to listen to other albums by bands I enjoy. Curiously, a couple of those bands are Rockabilly. Maybe RFTC should have gone that route. But, they would need to fire this post nasal drip lead singer for one with a real voice who can come up with pleasing melodies.
Generic, forgettable, might as well be more of that Brit pop the authors love so much.
Listening to this album I heard Smashing Pumpkins, A bit of Alice in Chains, and some 80s punk. Nothing special about this album or band to me.
As someone who listened to and enjoyed a lot of punk/ska in the mid to late 90s this was pretty bad. Brought back memories of getting badly sunburned at Warped Tour.
glatað
90s American punk. Better when it's heavier, terrible when it approaches Green Day. Annoying vocals.
Huh???
Awful
Ik heb niks positiefs te melden. Wat een verschrikkelijk album. 1/10
Insert prompt: 'Create a compilation of punk songs reminiscent of the style found in Tony Hawk games, yet belong to the rare category of soundtracks that easily slip from memory.'
Frat rock. Middle American mediocrity. Hate it. Can’t get through a whole song.
Wanted to like this album but couldn't Gets tired after the first track It's a no from me
If he's not screaming he's shouting if he's not shouting he's whining
Scream scream.. definitely not
No
1 - I found this album very annoying and it dragged on and on despite being, like, the shortest album I've listened to today. It just felt like the same song over and over... Nothing here for me to like. It's lucky it's not getting a .5.
Nope
WTF!
1 star as won't let me do zero
I'm generally a fan of punk. But... this shouldn't be a 1001 album. It's just a generic derivative of the punk that came before. Absolutely a pass for me.
I would enjoy life as a whole, significantly more, if I never had to listen to this again. No significance, no desire to learn why or how this made it on the list.
Not my jam
Ugh, awful.

No thank you
Not my cup of tea. Interesting story though.
Not for me
Tough way to start a Sunday morning.
Couldn't finish this either, making this the third one-starrer in a row. The singer's voice is dreadful. "Used" sounded like a bad Elvis Costello ripoff.

Schrammeliges Rockalbum.
Liked On a Rope. Didn’t like the others.
Nah….
I don't want to be a dick and give an album one star, but this was neither appealing to my sensibilities, nor interesting enough for me to forget that it was not appealing to my sensibilities. On A Rope was a banger though. I somehow liked that track on the album.
Absolutely dreadful, it's not even post punk, it's a poorly executed crash smash drum and single chord basic strum of the axe... and if you were tone deaf and smoked 60 unfiltered ciggies a day, you would still pull off better vocal range than these guys. Never heard of the group, and obviously for a reason, they're mega crap, just another Americana gabage band of 14 year old spotty faced dorks thinking they're awesome. This group and album do not warrant consideration for 1001 albums.
I was bracing myself before it started and then Ugggh. How can I describe the sound? Soundtrack for a shot movie about awkward skater boys? The kind of music they'd have in a Jackass film. Intentionally annoying shitm Cultural sludge of America. Maybe it's supposed to be funny and Beavis and Buthead laughed at it while headbanging . 1 star because the drummer worked hard. Woeful song titles.
This album is so boring. The energy level is consistent and just palls. It is recorded and mixed in such a way that an individual track would pop when played on the radio as the best thing you heard that hour, but listening to the whole album is exhausting. I hate his whiny voice, which just seems like posturing. I hate the arrangements. There is no point. It generically 'rocks', but there is no real grit to it. I'm sure they put on a decent live show (and it seems like they do a lot of live gimmicks), but these songs bore and tire me. I give it a second star because it is energetic and decently recorded. Actually, I think Come See, Come Saw is just a re-write of Know Your Product by the Saints. One star off for plagiarism of a far better song.
Scream is right… it’s all I heard. Honestly I don’t see what any sort of appeal from this is. I didn’t get any chance to appreciate any music because any chance I could it was interrupted by some more screaming… I just don’t get it.
I hate you for making me listen to this singer. And by "you" i mean literally everyone involved in his life: his parents for birthing him, his schoolmates who encouraged him to stay in a band, his teachers/mentors for not nurturing him to get a degree in something less annoying and eventually years later keep his noxious bleatings out of my earholes. And then whoever was responsible for foisting this album upon the public. Other than that, I loved it. (...the music is occasionally ok/fine, if not supercompressed in that 90s-style where everything had to be as loud as goddamn possible and literally tires your ears within minutes. Turn the volume down and it's still loud. That's just ... ...actually...I'm gonna take back even the hint of any quasi-compliments - now here's some of that stupid 90s "let's add HORNS to this punk-like song to be cool" ["Young Livers"] no it just makes it even more awful. Is this album done yet?) but as ever, singers ruin everything. Burn me tf alive. 2/10 1 star.
Perhaps the most basic and uninspired example of 90s rock music. No thank you, gentlemen.
Lasted 3 songs
Ugh. Just no.
Not sure why this is in the list, either. It’s ok, not good. Not revolutionary like I expect.
Þetta er... meh. Ekkert spes. Mögulega hefur dagsformið á mér áhrif á þessa skoðun. Prófa að hlusta aftur seinna.
Generic noise (that seems to pass for “rock music” in the USA)
Rating: 1.0 Best Track: Heater Hands
0 stars if i could
Didn’t get this at all.
Scream, Dracula, Scream! Not today, thank you.
No thanks
I guess this is what a lobotomy feels like.
I can't believe this is from 1995. It's about 15 years too late. Maybe it takes that long for this kind of sound to travel to San Diego. Uninventive, uninspiring and tired. Who decides this qualifies as one of the greatest?
I find this so boring. I'm not in the mood for it this week, I'm sure if I had more time and was in a better mood I'd find something I really like about it but I don't have the patience haha. Boring and shouty.
Not my bag.
Ruk.
Stupid.
Is this a joke?
Slightly better than expected but I definitely won't be listening to it again!
Oof.
Really underwhelming
Lo quité ALV
jaja que coños?, porqué?
I did not enjoy this album at all, I couldn't finish it. 1/5 stars.
